The First Born! (Patreon)

This will be the very first of the 2nd generation of Barbary Drakes! This is the super cute custom order for the sponsor of the Drakes‘ return, and we’re really excited to get them finished and put together. :) 

Modifications of the original pattern include:

-Bigger overall

-Much bigger wings 

- Refined tail and neck shapes (including neck ruff.) 

- Improved tail attachment (thank you Yip tail patterning struggles) 

- Improved front leg attachment to tie into the chest better, and allow the front legs to sit more naturally against the body. 

- Minky wings with appliqué fingers, and a poseable wing finger that will be armatured into a cast claw. (Claw will also be translucent resin when the horns are.) 

There may be other tweaks once we see how this one goes together and poses, but this should be very close to the final. :)
