part of what annoys me so much about season 7 is how easily they took highgarden. you were completely right in the moment when you said it. also highgarden and casterly rock were incredibly underwhelming in the show. just all the hype and then it never gets paid off!

Only Targaryens can be dragon riders btw so Dany cant teach anyone lol. The dragons wouldn't bond with people with no dragons blood at all.

One annoyance is also how we've now gone two episodes with euron easily overpowering Dany , and zero explanation as to how he did it. The drop in quality of writing is so real this season.

Yeah i get that most likely why the Targaryens had the egg in babes cradle tradition. But Jon definitely bonded with Drogon & Rhaegal, maybe not fully bonded tho, like they are to their mother.
