Most of the issues with crits isn't pathfinder related. It's the 2 homebrew things you do. Exploding dice are absolutely not needed in pathfinder with is all ready robust crit system. Fan criticals are also not needed. I understand they are "fun" but stacking both those homebrew rules are extremely crazy in to of Pathfinder's crit system. And by the books you could easily have killed that dragon.

What archetype is how playing that he can't summon a bunch of water elementals to put out the fires easily? I have used this method with a regular sorcerer and it's quite literally the best and easiest option. And as a summoner you could summon several to put out the entire town while the group spends all is actions rescuing people. The elementals last 10 minutes at your level and can AUTOMATICALLY Quench large amounts of fire every round. Lol.

Joe could have summoned multiple lower lever water elementals and saved the entire town. Not sure why he didn't. This is like when we're playing Heroes Unlimited and a hero/ player could have teleport me with his power outside of a nuclear blast AoE just by thinking it. He didn't and I died. He teleport me 80 feet from the center of the blast blast but around the corner. It was a full nuclear bomb. We're all military and know battle field destruction. This happens when people ABSOLUTELY don't understand their class.

This will be known as Joe's biggest failure. Usually he knows his class pretty well but today he failed with a 0 or off 100%. He could have SAVED EVERYTHING IN SANDPOINT WITH ONE SP ABILITY. Total failure of knowing you class abilities.
