So I've noticed a disturbing trend of GMs not enforcing free commerce in all their settings. 99.9% let their rich PCs financially destroy every community they come across. Adventurers are literally the riches people in most towns but rarely pay for anything. While they take advantage of the poor and middle class that is being taxed and underpaid for their entire lives. Am I the last gamer alive that isn't pure evil and is willing to pay full price and tip when it's less than .001% of the coinage in currently carrying on my person. I know celebrities in our time of social media get free stuff all the time but heroes are only heros of the people they have actively helped or saved the NPCs they are swindling constantly. Get into the fantasy mind set and not the current socialite mind at of the 21st century or all falls in line. It is also why most PCs nowadays have way too much treasure power their current level. Let them spend their coin. It helps with role-playing.
