Heyo,

Here the artworks I've been doing between last week and yesterday. Kinda quick stuff, just to exercise.

Tomorrow I'll probably release the full preview of what will be in the September pack. Unfortunately my eyes situation got a bit worse, so I couldn't draw as much as I wanted in the past 2 weeks. I had to stay away from the pc because my eyes kept burning and being dry, even after using drops. I'm going to visit another doctor soon, hoping I can do something more effective in order to heal faster.

The 2 missing pictures, Lara and St. Louis, might be delayed by a week or so, which means the pack will be sent a bit later than the usual 7-10 days at the beginning of September.

These recent sketches have looked great. I've been loving the anime and other styles. Take care of yourself. Hopefully the new doctor can help you out.

Still watch out for flickering displays. and led lights. avoid them. even if you cant see it, your eyes can feel it. : ( ű

I tried to test the flickering, but the screens seem to be fine. Maybe I'm not doing the right tests

All are cute. The Ahri portrait is adorable. Cheers

Take care of yourself! At the end of the day, you gotta look out for you. I want to see your art continue as long as possible. Everyone else just isn’t as good! Also #1 is amazinggg

I love your art, which is why I support your work, but I have a small comment. The art you provide here for us patrons is the same as what I get for free on your DA account. I was hoping for higher resolution as a supporter. (Which doesn't mean turning down the DA resolution. The more people see your work the better). I hope this doesn't offend. Cheers.

I do send higher resolution pictures each month, but you won't find them on my Patreon feed because patrons don't get charged upfront when they join my Patreon. Rewards are explained on my Tier list, on my "thank you for supporting" message when you join Patreon, on my FAQ and on the post at the top of the Patreon feed. I don't know what else to do. I'll add this to the FAQ.

Darren

I am sorry. I guess I'm a bit confused. I get an email from your each month with several image links. These are around the 1MB mark. They are generally the same as the ones on DA which are around the 800kb mark, so not much of a resolution difference. It is possible I am on too low a tier?

Darren

The pack has images not on DA too. the NSFW ones. I am not complaining about my tier, I just may need to go back and have a read. Thanks again. :)

Due to photoshop, all the file converted are jpg. A jpg with no compression (12 out of 12 quality) is pretty much the same as a png file, but the size differs. In your case, the pictures are actually full HD definition, 1920px longer side, but since they are JPGs the file weights less. On the other end images I post on my social pages are PNGs, just because the upload process on many platform destroys jpg quality by making them way more compressed than the original file.. With digital pictures, you want to check resolution and not size or dpi. JPGs will always weight less than PNGs if at same resolution.

Darren

I understand. I was comparing for example Tingle 1-3 to Tinglette on DA. Both are PNG. Both are 666x1160. The only diff is that Tingle is set at 72x72 resolution and Tinglette is 300x300. File size is slightly different, but pixel counts in the images are identical. Your packs always have much larger images. I probably jumped the gun. I assume Patreon's images won't be the same as following you on DA, but for general promo images I can see why you'd post the same. I hope your eyes get better soon. For me it was an allergy had blocked my ducts and given me dry eyes. Drops didn't help because the ducts were blocked. Lots of eyes over steam baths and time eventually helped. Cheers.

What is even 72x72 resolution? 300x300? 72 and 300 are common numbers used for dpi, which is an irrelevant unit when it comes to digital pictures. Dpi is all about printing. Deviantart may have changed something on that with their upload system, idfk.

Darren

Exactly. DPI vertically X horizontally. Does not matter for a digital file unless you try to print it. Thanks for your response to my query. Good luck with your eyes. Cheers.

Hope your eyes feel better soon. :( Also, I love the Ahri portrait :) Very beautiful.

Tommy Jensen

That Ahri is absolutely gorgeous! Love it!
