is it just me or does the downloadable video have no sound? I have the same problems with the wet palette. First it was the paint separating, so then I tried wiping off the top of the paper with a paper towel first. Now it's too dry. I'm using paper towels and baking paper.

do you ever find that much water is a problem? I was always taught to have damp paper instead of "drowning", or is that much better?

Well i prefer having a lot of water so i can reduce the air trapped under the parchment paper. Some papers are getting desolved when they are wet for too long.. and its definitely too much if the paper floats around in the surface
