Build 21, Nerd + Gameplay Overhaul (Patreon)

Build 21 is finally here! It comes with a complete overhaul of the combat system, many QoL changes, a new weapon to find, and a nerdy new foe to encounter with double the scenes and game-overs! I feel a lot more confident moving forwards with DD and plan to finish up and release Mint before tackling the task of finalizing the third stage within the next few builds and hopefully not take so long. ABDL content has been removed from the Patreon Edition of the game. This change was made out of safety reasons with all future content moved to Subscribestar; but, will still be released publicly.

-Added new foe "Nerd" with double the scenes (two separate attacks)

-Reworked a lot of the outdated player sprites

-New attack animations for Sam

-Removed ammo system and replaced it with a new heat system

-Added destructible "Heaters" to help regain heat

-Added new animations for the Zealot status effect

-Added a combo system

-Whispy can inflict "curse" and use his new taunt to pop a burst of damage based off his combo meter

-Sam can inflict two stages of burning DoT

-Added a new threat-level system that increases loot, damage, health, and other things to make the game harder

-Foes can appear from rank D to A

-Added a EMP machine to reset the threat-level

-Reworked some Hud elements

-You can now rebind your keys at the start menu

-Added new rooms to stages 1 and 2 alongside reworking a lot of the lab sprites to just look better

-You can now toggle between various mute setting with the mute button

-Loot has been reworked to feel more rewarding

-Both Sam and Whispy got a new dash to help with movement

-Supporter names now appear above save stations when used

-Expanded Daisy's stage

-You can now carry up to two items (Default button to store is S)

-Various bug fixes and QOL changes
