Growing into the Job, Post 624: Saving Room for Dessert (Patreon)

“Take a picture it’ll last longer,” she finally said, to him.
Jay blinked, startled, as if he’d forgotten there was a table between them. He’d been quiet, and hadn’t said a word since before the waitress had appeared with their food. In fact, he seemed pretty zoned-out. His voice came out small and a little dazed. “w-what?” he stammered in reply, from across the table.
“You’re staring. Again.” She smiled, proud but gentle, studying the quiet, glassy look on his face. “Maybe you’re just hungry. Dinner’s here, if you hadn’t noticed...”
He made a soft, wordless sound and looked down at his plate, but his eyes drifted back up almost immediately, settling once more on the heavy swell of her chest. ”uhhh…”
She had felt the shift in him earlier, in the car. Before, she’d helped him pack his things - though she packed a lot of cute outfits for herself, he wouldn’t need much - and set off right after work. A weekend away, just the two of them - she was so excited! Randi had found the perfect little lakehouse, not too far away, quiet. They could be alone!
The moment she had buckled him into the passenger seat of the XX Behemoth, though, something in the air between them had changed. A new sweetness had begun to rise from her skin - warmer, richer - filling the closed cabin as she drove. He had grown quieter with every mile, stealing longer and longer glances at the fullness of her breasts beneath her strained top, saying less and less. She hadn’t minded. She was used to carrying the conversation, and she was used to guys staring at her chest. But now, sitting across from him in this little lakeside restaurant, the quiet felt heavier, his gaze felt hungrier. Everything was more charged.
Maybe it’s a new - ugh! What’s the word again? - fairamone. A new perfume my body’s putting out, getting him ready. Making him like…this.
“Aren’t you hungry?” she asked, watching him with interest. Yeah, she’d been sensing something changing in him, and wanted to see something. “I got you some steak strips. I could chew them for you,” she offered, as tenderly as she could, “or I have some of your formula powder, in my purse. I could ask the waitress to mix some up..?”
I actually didn’t bring his formula, she thought to herself, conveniently forgot. Woops.
“n-no, it’s, uhm…”
There it is, she saw, he’s staring at my breasts again, especially when I talk about food, or him being hungry. The poor thing. I think I know what this is…
She wanted his little belly empty, she did, for tonight, for what she had planned. Purposefully, she hadn’t fed him all afternoon. Usually he would’ve had his bottle for lunch, then maybe even another, depending.
“You can have a bottle when we get back to the car, if you’re just embarrassed to have it h-“
“n-no…that’s okay..,”
He seemed confused by whatever it was he was feeling, but she had a feeling herself about something. Maybe she knew what was going on inside him even more than he did. Darkly, it made her even more excited. She loved this part of the change in him - the way his body was already learning to need her before his mind could catch up. And once that happened, his little brain learning how it was going to be now? Oooo…!
This is all part of the deal, and I’m going to let myself enjoy it. I enjoy him getting more dependent on me. I love it. In fact…
At that, she let more perfumes, whatever these new ones were, waft out from her cleavage - where his eyes were still stuck. She noticed the hollowness of his cheeks, how skinny he looked. She couldn’t wait to start fattening him up! Having some baby fat on those cheeks to pinch? Ooo! She felt the weight of his new wants and needs like a physical touch, and it was wakening new urges.
Oh. It’s like I can feel the veins pulsing.
“Okay, well, I’m hungry,” she finally said, picking up the burger she had in front of herself. The waitress had seemed nice for an older lady - called Melissa ‘Queenie’, in fact. Melissa had liked the sound of it more than she expected.
The waitress had looked surprised at her order - ‘three number 9’s, all with cheese, the steak fingers for him, and a Coke Zero for me, too, please.’
Jay had managed a little crack about the diet soda. So fresh!
“Will that be enough for her majesty?” the waitress had asked.
Her majesty has 535 pounds to feed, Melissa thought to herself. Then she looked at Jay. And later, I’ll have you to feed, too, Mr Comedian.
She changed the Coke Zero to a milkshake.
I’ll want the extra calories.
The waitress had left, and now their food was here. The soft bun of the first burger gave under her fingers, and as she took the first bite she could feel her body answering. Fats and proteins and sugars were already beginning their quiet work, turning into the warm heaviness that had been filling her since morning…turning into what he needed. Her breasts felt tight, swollen, the skin sensitive against the inside of her bra. It had been hours since she last pumped, and now it would get worse. Every shift of her breathing made them ache in a way that was both uncomfortable and deeply satisfying.
Expandable or not, I’m outgrowing this bra, she thought, I can feel it.
She ate steadily, letting him watch. One burger disappeared, then most of the second. “You’ve been really quiet,” she finally said, not unkindly.
“y-yeah…I guess. I think I’m…” he began. His voice faded off.
“That’s okay, baby, you can be quiet,” she assured him. He doesn’t really understand what he’s feeling but I do, she thought, as she remembered what she had been reading earlier:
“With the small size of infant stomachs, lactating mothers of newborns need to nurse every 2 to 3 hours. If you are away from your baby or trying to establish your supply and need to pump, use this as a general rule of thumb to mimic how often a baby eats.”
But his stomach’s bigger than a newborn’s…I can start by feeding him less often than that. But as he gets littler…he’s gonna need me so…nnngh…bad. So…often.
She resisted the urge to pull her top away from her nipple, show him how engorged it was.
Mental note - she told herself, digging into the third burger - buy baby carrier. One of those front strap-on things. So I can just have him at my chest, all day. That’ll…nngh. Make it easier. He’ll be small enough soon. And me big enough.
She looked at him. He hadn’t touched his dinner, or said much. She’d been chatting, he’d been quiet. She asked if he needed anything, he’d said no. I’ve got all he needs in my breasts, and even if his brain doesn’t know it yet - his body does..
The golden light from the overhead caught the side of his face, the soft slope of his shoulder, the way he seemed almost folded in on himself across the table from her. The hollow beneath his cheekbone bothered her more than it should have. Looking at it produced a strange little ache somewhere beneath the ache in her breasts: feed him. She didn’t want to make a scene but she wanted to eat faster. She was also afraid she might start leaking, if he kept looking at her like that. He’s coming to accept things, so well. He’ll accept this, too, our next step, she hoped. Oh, how she hoped.
A few weeks ago, she knew, he would have definitely tried to talk himself out of this feeling. He would have built careful little stories about what was happening between them, insisted that whatever was changing wasn’t really changing him. But those stories were getting harder for him to tell now. He knew he was getting smaller. He knew she was getting bigger. And some quiet, wordless part of him had already begun to understand that the shape of their life together was changing too.
Melissa knew she could make herself impossible to ignore. She could make him hungry, fill the car - or even this restaurant - with whatever her body was putting into the air, sit here so full she could practically feel every vein beneath her skin. But there was one part she couldn’t do for him. She wanted him to choose it. Oh, g-d, she wanted him to choose her.
He was still staring.
Melissa finished the last bite of her third burger, licked a little sauce from the corner of her mouth, and finally set the empty plate aside with a quiet clink. Across the small wooden table little Jay hadn’t touched his steak strips - really, she knew he wouldn’t. He was trying his best but his eyes were still glassy, fixed on the heavy curve of her chest and how the light from the overhead fixture caught the deep curve of her cleavage, turning the stretched fabric of her top a warmer tan where it strained over the heavy, swollen weight of her breasts. She could feel how full she was, how the milk she’d been holding had made everything tighter, heavier, more sensitive.
She let the silence stretch a little longer, watching him. His eyes were fixed on her chest, but there was something fragile in the way he looked at her now - not just hunger, but a kind of quiet, helpless need that made her heart ache in the best way.
Finally his voice came, small and embarrassed. “I… I’m sorry,” he whispered, barely louder than the soft clink of silverware from other tables. “I know I keep…staring. I can’t stop. I don’t know why it’s worse today….but I can’t look away from you.”
Melissa’s heart fluttered with a familiar, possessive warmth. She reached across the table and covered his little hand in both of hers, cradling it gently. Her thumbs brushed over his knuckles, her fingers completely swallowing his and feeling the fine bones beneath. “You don’t ever have to apologize for needing me, silly,” she said softly, voice low and full of quiet affection, “And really, it’s okay. I like when you look at me. You can look as much as you want.”
She leaned forward just a little, purposefully letting her breasts rest more heavily against the edge of the table, the deep valley of her cleavage becoming even more pronounced. The fabric of her top strained, the soft weight of them unmistakable. She watched his eyes drop again, and saw the way his breath caught. She watched his skinny throat work as he swallowed.
He seemed so helpless.
“They’re bigger today, aren’t they?” she murmured, almost conversationally, “Swollen. That’s what you’re noticing.” She gave his hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze, her thumb stroking the back of his wrist. “It’s for you. Everything about me is getting bigger, and the way I keep getting softer…it’s because my body wants to be able to take care of you better. Because I love you.”
Every slow breath made them swell against the edge of the table, blooming and bulging her cleavage towards him.
Jay’s breath hitched. He didn’t answer, but she saw the pulse fluttering at the side of his neck, sensed the way his one free hand - under the table - curled into a fist on his thigh even as the fingers of the other tightened slightly around hers. He still couldn’t quite meet her eyes, but he didn’t pull away.
Melissa smiled, warm and steady and knowing. She wanted to tell him, though part of him knew already. “This weekend is just for us,” she continued, voice low and rich with promise. “No work. No interruptions. Just you and me… and them.” She glanced down at her own chest with open affection. The deep valley between her breasts was shadowed and warm. “They’re going to take such good care of you, baby. All weekend long. You’re going to be so close to them. So warm, we’ll keep you full. I’m going to let them take care of you the way you’ve needed for a long time. I’m going to make sure of it, baby.”
She watched the words sink and settle into him - the way he fought for a moment, but then how his shoulders loosened just a little, as if some part of him had been waiting to hear exactly that. She also, though, saw the quiet ache bloom behind his eyes, the quiet, desperate hunger that had nothing to do with the untouched food on his plate. I know you’re hungry now, but soon we’ll take care of that. Soon you’ll never be hungry again.
“We can leave whenever you’re ready,” she said gently, already signaling for the check, “or we can sit here a little longer. Either way…I’ll be right here with you. And when we get to the house, you won’t have to hold all of this in anymore.”
The air in the restaurant smelled of grilled meat and warm bread and - she knew - the faint, sweet scent of her. Outside, the lake flickered with the last gold of the evening. Fifteen more minutes. A short drive, now. That was all.
Melissa kept his hand in hers, feeling the small, steady pulse of him, and let the quiet between them feel safe instead of empty. Then she sat back, feeling what filled her chest shift heavily inside her, and smiled at the small, silent man across from her. Her nipples swelled inside her bra.
“You two save any room for dessert?” the waitress asked as she gathered the plates.
Melissa looked across the table at Jay, then down briefly at the untouched steak strips. She smiled. “Oh, I think he did,” she answered.
She couldn’t wait to feed him.
