I was dreaming about this song about this time last year. I knew what I wanted to achieve and as I usually do, after putting together a very raw demo I could listen on my phone if needed, I put my subconscious mind at work for some weeks. By the end of August I recorded this first demo, undeniably influenced by some 80s production techniques and at heart very close to the end result.

It took me several months to polish and finish the arrangement you can hear now on "All Systems Go" (the album), there are even some minor changes on the lyrics and performing style, but I'm happy you can hear now this draft. Enjoy!

Running in the night is one of my favorites on the album. So awesome to hear this demo of it and the story behind it. Thank you for sharing this! Hugz🙂

Thanks for posting this! I definitely get the 80s vibe!

Dear Ben....MoonBEAR and I appreciate you once again sharing your creative journey for when you imagine and then finally produce a great song. It is wonderful hearing about your journey of exploring diverse musical elements and composition. Did or did we not hear in your chorus for this song a slight similar sounding recognizable popular 80's chorus sung by 'Queen - Radio Gaga'??

It was an inspiration, indeed, but I don't think I used any of their notes on it, maybe I'm wrong because you're not the first to tell me this, one of this days I'll sit in front of the piano and check both :) Another inspiration was "Same Old Scene" by Roxy Music.

Good Morning Dear Brother BEAR Ben, I was NOT trying to say that you may have copied 'note for note' the chorus from Queen....all I was trying to say is that ....like you said in your description about the song and it's creation.....it was in that '80's' style and to which MoonBEAR and I agree!!! Keep on doing ALL of those things that bring Happiness and Joy into that beautiful heart and soul and mind of yours...we love you and Jose and wish you good health and magical moments that turn into cherished memories that will last a lifetime!!! MoonBEAR and 'Santa Steve''

Good morning guys! I understood 😊 and it’s not the first time I’ve heard that, that’s why I was saying I should check it out, and above all, I’m flattered it’s compared to that masterpiece, I wish I can someday achieve that level of mastery! 🎶 thank you for writing, I love that we have this conversation going. 😘😘😘

Muchas gracias querido Antonio. Con respecto a esta canción, creo que todavía no esta todo dicho con ella. Tenia una idea para un video que se tuvo que suspender por la pandemia, pero ya estoy con planes de recuperarla. :)
