At around 13:43, Garret talks about an "intro episode" here they talk about who they are - is this available to watch anywhere?

Kara Hart

Listening to Caretaker right now and came here to ask the same thing! I've checked all the usual podcast places and can't find anything. Would love to be able to find it!

Jim

Wow. So much fun!

John Tufarella

Grabbing some drinks and snacks and heading to the comp to watch.

Josh Johnson

Love this you guys! Keep up the good work!

Liz Scott

Definitely stayed up way too late to watch, but it was definitely worth it!

John Tufarella

Amazing job guys! This was super fun to watch and I cant wait for part 2!!

TheDeltaFlyers

We use Captivate which is a different hosting site. However, you can listen on Spotify, Itunes, Google Podcasts, and Stitcher.

Keith Rouleau

Love it, exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait for more.

Ann Marie

I loooooooove the reactions while watching the episode segment! So stinking cute!

James Amey

Great first episode team!

James Amey

There should definitely be a 'Robbie impersonates the alien of the week' segment

Sy "Frank" Peddlesden

I love the behind the scenes stories... I too parked in the blue tank when I visited Paramount, so when you mentioned it, I knew exactly what you meant!!! Ah, memories... who do I contact for technical comment?

Diana Paprotny

I was rewatching TNG (because quarantine) and saw the episode with Robbie and got so excited to see Paris. Then I was so confused because he wasn't Paris. Then I saw the episode with Tuvok who wasn't Tuvok. I find it fascinating when actors play multiple characters on similar series, makes for a fun little thing for us fans to notice later on. This was really great guys. I'm loving hearing about the behind the scenes stuff. Paris and Kim were always my favorite characters, so listening to you guys talk is a treat.

Charity Ponton

I am on the east coast and this dropped right as I was about to go to bed at midnight, but I had to get a little time in last night. I finished it up this morning between working and it is exactly what I was hoping for: all the juicy tidbits that nobody would ever ask about. Great job, you two!

sab ewell

Loved this so much!!! Can't wait for part 2!

Swan Lubbers

Is this available on Google Podcast? I can't seem to find it!

Laura Swanson

This is amazing!!! I can’t wait to see more. It’s everything I hoped it would be and then some. Great work, guys!

Philipp Havrilla

Loved the first episode! It was very entertaining from beginning to end. Thank you very much for doing this! Can't wait for the next episode.

Breana Harris

Thank you so much to everyone involved!! If Paris is Hamilton that makes Janeway George Washington right?

Deborah

This made my day!

Jenny

Thanks so much for the video option at an accessible tier! (I’m terrible at staying focused on audio-only, no matter how interested I am, unless I’m also doodling or taking notes. I was always pretty grateful that my elementary school teachers didn’t mind the doodling, even back in the 80s. Reading or watching I’m good, but audio-only podcasts and audio books have never really worked for me!)

Nathanial Moon

I love this! I'm totally geeeking out.

Jennifer Taylor

This was so entertaining to watch. You guys are both great, and I am so glad the two of you are doing this.

Carolyn CJ Matthews

Watched it last night and it made me happy! Thanks for sharing with us!

Pekhty

What a great first episode! Thank you guys for putting this out, I can't wait to see more.

Chloe E

Just got a chance to sit down and watch this! So fun! I think Voyager has some of the best opening credits/score of all the Treks! Voyager is definitely my favorite series but I love the scene in Quark's bar where you just briefly see Morn from DS9 sitting on his usual bar stool. Great touch!

Luz R

Great first episode! I have enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

Richard Simoneau

Great episode guys! As an orchestra musician, I really thought it was cool you talked about the fact that the scores of all episodes were with a full orchestra. I actually met Garrett at a sci fi concert he hosted a few years ago with my orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia

Caroline Aching

I hit that Patreon sub right after the first episode! I have been smiling and laughing for an hour now. You guys did some amazing work. Cannot wait for more! Much love for the video option at the Lieutenant stage.

Benjamin Farnsworth

Listening to this right now and i must say i'm loving this! Garrett, im very glad you didn't actually kill Harrison Ford! HAHA

Adriana Guerra

I'm so happy that you guys have this podcast "The Delta Flyers" I mean, come on!! I love the name! Yeeess! Congratulations and THANK YOU!! 😎🤗🤗🥰🥰❤️❤️👏👏🌼🌼

Adriana Guerra

I disagree, I liked the way you played Tom Paris from the start. I love the character development throughout the series, we get to care for him and understand where he is coming from. I'm rewatching the episodes again with you guys (obviously is like my 8th-20th time??....who'counting anymore 🤪) I love it!

Megan Roller

I loved this first episode, it brought me back to when I was 11 almost 12 and watching ST: V! But learning all the ins and outs that you don’t get to hear about just watching the show. My mom is so anti fantasy/sci-fi that I wasn’t allowed to watch TNG or DS9 except at friends houses. But in 1995 my mom got a job working the night shift and left for work around 7:30-8pm and when I heard there was going to be a new Star Trek series I couldn’t wait! It’s one of the few TV series that I’ve watched multiple times and own the box set to.

Brandon Edling

Looks like I'm a tad late to the party here... I knew this podcast was coming out, but didn't know about the Patreon part of it until I found the "abridged" audio feed. Suffice to say I'm in and thoroughly enjoying the video podcast of this. Pour myself a drink (or two... or three... or...) and watch these guys. It's what I need right now in the middle of all this world-wide cray-cray. Thanks, Garrett and Robbie. Cheers.

Elizabeth Gall

Here 4 the underpants. Also, beg to differ about the old age - y'all must be using some secret Borg technology to look unchanged since the 90s.

Roe O'Brien

LOVED this episode. Garrett and Robbie - You guys killed it. I LOVE hearing these stories and reflections! :)

Blaire Barnes

I've seen the footage with Genevieve Bujol and she does a couple of different scenes with Tim Russ. Were those done at a different time than Kim and Paris?

Jason Self

On the topic of Geneviève Bujold and Kate Mulgrew and hair, there's a hidden extra on disk #5 in the Star Trek: Voyager DVD set that touches on this topic. Michael Piller, Executive Producer says: "We had shot several days with Kate with her hair down and the studio called and said "I don't like the way she looks." And that was how the 'Janeway bun' ultimately came into being. And we had to go back and re-shoot major footage. I can honestly say this is probably the only Star Trek pilot in which the hair dressing cost more than the special effects."

Máia W

I am still mentally working through the Hamilton-esque musical Tom Paris tribute - working out the smoothest way to glide the syllables of Tom's full name to fit in the main chorus title phrase. Also appreciated the shout out to Farscape and discussing the technological segue the living ship, Moya. Another scifi fave of mine due for a re-watch.

Jan Hoppe

Thank you for doing this 😊 my childhood heroes 🥰

Sebastian Quinn

Really interesting to hear your take guys. So glad I heard about this podcast on the reunion call :)

The Irish Buddhist

Loved hearing Robbie talk about sitting in as the Orchestra played Voyagers Theme Song. It took me back to my senior year of High School in 1995 when our Concert Band director had us play 3 different 'Star Trek' pieces. We played TNG, The Original Star Trek and most importantly Voyager. What a powerful piece that gets deep into your soul.

Dez

This is sooo great!! Such a blast to hear you guys, about the beginnings of the series!! Can't wait to catch up on these podcasts!!

Sony

Gawd, you're lucky! I played in the Minnesota Youth Symphony and GTCYS (violin) and we never got to play Star Trek, Star Wars or any fun film music. The Voyager theme is my favorite in the Star Trek repertoire; I especially like the middle part. Jerry Goldsmith is a genius.

Joshua Rowland

Adding to Robbie’s comment at 1:01:00 regarding bio-ships and neurological pilot interfaces. Remember “Alice” in season 6? Never purchase a shuttle from a delta quadrant junkyard, folks.

Carmen Puente

Just signed up to be able to access the extra goodies!! I’m PSYCHED! Getting my raspa and nachos with popcorn to enjoy this video! A little break from writing my dissertation proposal!

LT Turner Jr

What a fun episode!! Wow, never knew about the looping. Garret, I thought you did perfectly fine in those scenes. And Robbie, I don't think Tom Paris was "too much" in the beginning. I really liked his character in the beginning, he was the Voyager "Fly Boy" as B'Lanna Torres mentioned in a few episodes, but Tom's character really blossomed as Voyager went along. :)

Jetsgirl 85

Wow! So glad I finally discovered this podcast. I’m going to have to go back and rewatch this episode now because of your comments on the uniform V. I’m wondering though Garrett, if yours and Tuvok’s were short V’s because you had gold uniforms. All the ones that you mentioned that had longer V’s were red.

paige

Robbie: forgot The Caretaker was a two parter, forgot the history of the Maquis, didn't remember Neelix saved them from the Kazon. Also Robbie: remembers he had used shoes :)

Cass

I always assumed the V length was just due to how far the uniform was zippered. I never thought they were just sewn at different lengths or that they were chosen by the actors.

Thomas Patterson

Hello guys. I just found this and loved voyager a lot. I'm now binge watching your recap videos. Help me.

BlueBoxDeZigns

Thank you Garrett and Robert for allllllll of this !!! this just completely enriches the Voyager Series adventures!! :) this is awesome !!

Oregon Hop

Tim Russ was also in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Rachelle H

I love this! Why did I just now find this? However The Tardis from Doctor Who is the first live space ship.
