I was glad the Bajoran stayed on board. She could at least write to family members. Write her memories, her experiences. It was not a bad bet that someday it would reach people in the Alpha Quadrant. I think blaming Seven was petty. I get why, but Seven was not prepared by life to make agency decisions. She didn’t decide to be higher in the hierarchy.

Dee McGee

Always love seeing Vaughn Armstrong!

Christopher Collins

I never realize Astrometric’s screen was not turned on at the very end of the episode until Garrett pointed it out.

Christopher Collins

Robbie was really close on what the episode was going to be about.

Christopher Collins

I prefer hearing what do you really remember vs making up synopsis when you already had guesses on the episode.

Christopher Collins

I like this episode. I like the back story history to Seven of Nine as a drone. I think that this is one of the better told Borg stories.

DogBlud

'Marsupial Surprise' may as well be the tanned kangaroo change purse an Australian friend brought to the US while she was visiting. I won't say what part of the kangaroo it was made from, only that it fits the description.

Andrew Murray

They could have named "Basics" (I & II) Survival Instinct.....

Andrew Murray

stupid thing about those "Survivor" TV shows, they portray the participants in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the clothes they're wearing, but audiences conveniently forget an entire TV crew production team is following them around, probably with all the mod-cons we CAN'T see.

Andrew Murray

For "confined to quarters", I reckon Harry would escape to the Holodeck and program a Commander Riker on trombone and Data on double-bass (not violin), and just do a jam session . Trombone, Double bass and Clarinet, and get the real Worf on the drum-kit.

Chris Knapp

Please don’t tell us which parts of the marsupial were used, that would kill the surprise.

Christopher Collins

I did not realize they were eating the dead drone either.

Christopher Collins

I prefer the action figure endings over cast photo post credits.

Irene Artho

Having the access to the space station on the bridge would explain all the people on the bridge :D

Amy Tudor

The figurine improv at the end had me giggling a lot XD Another fantastic episode guys - Can't believe we're in season 6 already, it's going too fast!

Brandon Kolk

I never realized it either, I knew the Borg cannibalized dead drones for parts, but not for food.

Mr Paris

Does no one get the joke? "This tastes like a bird I once ate" = this tastes like chicken. lol

Scott Lewis

I bet you're right about the leola root. By my understanding, tuna surprise is actually made with chicken.

Kassandra

I loved this episode and especially the poetry synopsis by Robbie and Garrett. Aaannnnd heeeyyy Vaughn Amstrong, Admiral Forrest. Loved his performance

There were several of the "dinosaur" aliens from the episode "Distant Origin" in the hallway when Seven yells to get out of the way. Two, Three and Four of Nine all take off while there is a big fire burning. Seven paces until the fire has burnt out then takes off after them. At least 2-3 hours must pass for that fire to burn down to embers as it was when Seven goes after them, so they have that much of a lead. Seven walking at a brisk pace, catches up them in almost no time even to the female who was running. So how did Seven catch up to them while walking and behind them by 3 hours?

Andrea Landrum

It just occurred to me while watching this that seven was only around 16-17 years old when she reassimilated the other drones. It's really no wonder she was so scared.
