Hey all!

Hope you are having a relaxing start to your summer and not pushing yourself as hard as Luna is in that little teaser up there 😌

But enough about that silliness! Today is about our Early Access patrons. You’ve seen the release trailer and have been excited to finally sink your teeth into the latest update, and now is your time. Here you go, enjoy:   • Falling Undercover: Nox Syndicate - [Episode 03]On our end, work has already started on Episode 04. Throughout the writing process for Episode 03, there was a lot of back and forth about some story elements and scenes, but the process for Episode 04 has been a lot smoother so far! We hope to get the next episode out a little quicker next month. Fingers crossed 😋

Until then, we will do our best to learn and improve, so that we can make the best NTR experience we can 🙏

Take care and thanks again for your support!

Azienda 💜

NTR is about control, dominance and humiliation. Are you sure this is the narrow path you're looking for? NTS is a more consensual path with mutual boundaries, but still emotionally negative if those lines are crossed. Both can be relationship & story killers. And neither has widespread appeal comparatively. It's about the story and the desired endings. That's all. There's nothing harem oriented that can't be hybridized into netorase, something that's still intensely sexy and fun as opposed to a downer with limited fiscal success. There just have to be in-game impactful choices and paths. Let the player choose, not the devs. My 2 cents.

Keep up the awesome work ❤️

Hi! Just to clarify: we’ve never made, and probably never will make, a netorase game. From what you wrote, it sounds like you’re a fan of that, but our focus has always been on making the best netorare games we can, both through our writing and art, but they are probably not what you are looking for. We believe that the path to making something great is to focus on what you do best, give it your all, and stay true to the project’s core and your own identity. With good games and media, the audience comes to the product, not the other way around.

This is what I understand: netori is when the protagonist is taking someone else's lover. Netorare is when their lover is stolen. Netorase is when they willingly offer their lover up to cheat on them. All 3 are NTR. They are all gender neutral although it's not uncommon to see the female variant referred to as reverse NTR. Is this your understanding as well? If so, you're correct, and supporting this likely isn't for me but I wish you well in your artistic approach and passion.

Yes, we agree on the NTR categories, and in that case we might not be making the kind of game you’re looking for. Still, thank you!

Luna is working out at the Gym!😍 nice Since it's summer, it would be nice if you could next show us Luna wearing a Bikini on the beach or a pool in the game or as an Illustration ❤️

I find it odd that you ask Azienda of all devs to make netorase when all their other VNs have been completely focused on netorare. And, in my opinion, they do that the best. And with how FUNS has been set up, working towards an NTS path would feel so out of character for everyone. Also, I feel the emotional turmoil that NTR brings can't be found in NTS.

I speak from a development perspective, not as a connoisseur of the trope in this. I spent years at Bethesda working on TES4 and 5 in an entirely different enviornment and engine and am trying to wrap my head around the indie concept. I have to learn Python, but have the capacity to do all the other things. Although I do use much different software (typically 3DS MAX from Autodesk) for renders and movement (vids). I'm going through multiple titles in this genre A) to see how they're marketed and B), because this genre lends itself to potential emotional drama which is always a big draw for a gamer. And in my minds eye find it captivating, complex and sexy overall. And I want to do something different with it, make it more "fun" as opposed to answering a specific, darker desire. But that last point is a personal thought and irrelevant. I'm inexperienced in AVNs, but see it as a breathtaking canvas, both artistically and as a worthwhile income generator. Previous experience has shown me that I do NOT want to work for a large studio again and have to deal with the bullshit, but that I've also learned a lot over years by doing so and am trying to wrap my head around whether it's viable as an artistic venture (which I'd love) and a money maker down the road. I'm asking questions and commenting to generate thoughtful responses. And much of that's based on how many followers each dev has and what I see is that, while miniscule to what I see in other game ventures, it's very possible to grow that exponentially if the dev actually swerved away from a narrow perspective. But, is it worth the hit to lose the artistic control and passion? I'd hate it, but I'm trying to balance it out. To answer your point re: emotional turmoil, my personal POV is that as a gamer I'd rather see and feel a lighter rather than darker experience in the end. I hope that helps answer. I won't support this specific venture monetarily, as it's not my interest personally, as Azienda brought up. But I will pay attention to it.-KC
