It's really very simple. Republican voters are degenerate. Any sort of rationality is a facade, usually very thin, that they want other people below them to stay there in misery, because they are just bullies. If you understand the mind of a bully you understand them perfectly. A substantial amount of voting people have something wrong in their brain or maybe it's me. Maybe my desire to understand things as a reflex is a derangement of some kind. I have a mutation causing me link to objective observation with experience and feeling instead of holding them separate. I remember a story from NPR when I still listened to that. A border patrol guard was getting choked up because he forced a kid with some severe medical condition(kidneys maybe) to go back to S. America or something. Anyway this guard turned out to be an illegal immigrant, but his father never told him, and he lost his job and was either in process of being deported or had already been deported to Mexico. His response when asked about The System was that HE was being treated unfairly. I expected him to stupidly fall on his sword, but no. When asked how he wanted things to resolve he basically said he hoped things could go back to normal i.e. sending dying kids away and separating people from their families. Remember you face an enemy completely devoid of conscience or honor or mercy, only capable of the pretense of any of those things. When they say only belief in God prevents rape and murder they are being sincere because that is the truth...for them.
