COLLECTIONS/SHOP:

We are also excited to launch our new digital shop, featuring purchasable & downloadable collections of Chapo Trap House .mp3s. I've curated 4 collections of classic Chapo Premium eps to begin with, including:

- Movie Reviews, Part 1: 22 movie review eps spanning EP25 - "Lady Ghostbusters" to EP357 - "We Have A Rat Problem" (Review of Mr. America with Tim Heidecker)

- Movie Reviews, Part 2: 21 movie review eps from EP361: “The Brothers” (Review of The Reliant) to EP707 “Brave New World” (Review of Demolition Man)

- TV Reviews: 25 classic TV review eps, including all our Sorkin reviews, all our Hilary Clinton TV reviews, and all of Felix's This Is Sus series collected in one place

- History Eps: 16 eps including all of Matt's Inebriated Past episodes collected in one place, plus all of our Poppy series.

Each of these can be purchased for a one time fee of $9.99, for subscribers and non-subscribers alike. I know this is probably not a super compelling feature for you subscribers here, but hey, maybe it's worth it just to get all these eps in one place. And it will hopefully be a good way for non-subscribers to see what they get here on the Patreon.

We will be collecting both Hell on Earth and Movie Mindset into single purchasable collections a little later this summer, timed with our next round of Mini-Series. More info on that and programming for the rest of the year when Movie Mindset wraps next week.

What other collections should we offer? If you've got any suggestions, sound off in the comments.

Ok, that's it for now,

-cw

chapotraphouse

gotta go to the SHOP page patreon.com/chapotraphouse/shop

andrew rogers

I'm not sure if they can easily obtain the rights from Stitcher. Other shows I listen to that had Stitcher-exclusive seasons had to negotiate with Stitcher to be allowed to re-release the episodes on Patreon, and that was someone who had a close relationship with Stitcher brass so who knows what the terms were or if Stitcher would offer anything similar to Chris & Matt

Maciek

Dope thanks, this app is kinda garbage it seems.

NYCM&AHole

Hell of presidents but not minge points with dummy Bessner

NYCM&AHole

They should’ve had better lawyers re: stitcher

Jorge Chao

Jorge Chao

holy cow it’s just the app, the website does exactly that!

Ed Smith

Come to Victoria, you nerds

James Cronier

The movie reviews were in a collection tab on the page today

James Cronier

I’m 6 eps in and now it’s gone lol

Randy

More Hesse every time

Milton Heath

After reading comments collections of frequent guests is one idea, but I came on to say a Chapo primer of frequent references might be good. “Handsome generals” came up a lot in a recent episode, and we sometimes come across various phrases that it takes a seasoned listener to fully appreciate. A super cut of references would be fun and useful when recommending to new listeners.

Lydia Maria Child

Seconding the things on Stitcher. Wanted to listen but not a big "app" guy, don't have spotify or stitcher or any of the others. Would definitely listen here or elsewhere if it was an option.

Tyler Sambucci

The dungeons and dragons eps would be cool

B2B Commuter

The college episodes early on with the evil alumni tournament are some of my favorite episodes of the run. I know it probably complicates your ability to get hosted on campuses, but I would love it if it was dusted off, maybe at Stanford, Michigan or Georgetown?

Nicole S

cum 2 vancouver

Charles Keenan

Come to Vancouver, it’s like San Francisco but worse.

etienne

cant find where to put the code in for presale

etienne

the canadian regulators need to engage Evenko with the force of a thousand suns annd break it down into a million sub companies

etienne

montreal is sold out?

etienne

the new mayor sounds so awesome. like for decades everyone kind of understood that there are hoboes on east hastings but now he sent in the cops to make hastings look less like shit and now the hobos are ???? I think they all got jobs and moved into houses in kelowna or something idk. probably fine

Peter Wilson

Either Montreal sold out the second they went on sale after having quite a few tickets available last night or there is some kind of error going on.

etienne

thinking of all the huge metal bands I saw at corona thinking "wait this went out faster than High on Fire? faster than King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard?"

T

Holy shit thank you for this comment. I've been trying to remember High on Fire's name for 2 weeks now because I was looking for a particular song by them.

Peter Wilson

Did anybody manage to get tickets to the Montreal show today?

SparkSolidarity

tickets sold out for montreal in a matter of seconds and I wiffed on the pre-sale woe is me.

Peter Wilson

Blows me away that it would sell out so fast when there were a fair number of tickets left at the end of pre-sale and every person I have seen post about not getting a ticket online were people who were subbed and just fucked up on the presale. Have seen 0 people claim to have bought a ticket today. If I see that, my hopes will be dead, but for now I am still holding out hope something weird is going on. Either way, some confirmation that they are indeed sold out would give me some peace of mind and I can just move on with my life rather than continuing to refresh the ticket page, "just in case." I know this is mostly just cope for missing out, but the fact that there are still so many seats in Toronto and 0 tickets being scalped on Ticketmaster does give me hope.

etienne

Evenko needs to be [redacted] with high precision [expunged] Raytheon [censored] in their headquarters

SparkSolidarity

I think the thing we’re not considering is that Montreal is close to places like Vermont and other parts of the northeast. Idk.

etienne

theres more people on my city block than in all of vermomt

SparkSolidarity

But how many on your block are grey wolves like us?

Peter Wilson

Fair points. Either way, kinda wish I had some kind of official confirmation the dream is dead.

SparkSolidarity

I just moved to Montreal from Toronto. I’ll probably drag my ass back to that hellhole to see the Christman.

Peter Wilson

I would too, if Toronto tickets are still available by the time they say anything

Alex Quast

Tabletop Game Theory as a collection would be great

YukiNukem64x

Am kind of confused, plenty of tickets seem to be available for mtl

Peter Wilson

I guess it turns out my conspiracy theories were completely correct in the end. Just nabbed the last front row ticket. Also have a ticket for Toronto now too...

SparkSolidarity

Incredible. I got a pair of tickets just now. What a journey. Friends we made along the way I guess.

etienne

evenko is so awesome dude. I should pay them 9$ when I go watch a hockey game at the tavern next door

etienne

thx i got mine

BauHausofLabour

Danforth Music Hall is almost across the street from the Communist Party of Canada's national office, you folks gonna do a tour?

Peter Wilson

They deserve that extra thank you for the wonderful service they provide.
