I love Gang of Youths! Another amazing Aussie band/artist! You should check out the following collection of songs...'Magnolia', 'Let Me Down Easy', 'Blood' (Cover on Triple J Like a Version), 'The Heart is a Muscle', 'The Deepest Sighs,The Frankest Shadows'. 😊❤️

They’re phenomenal live, I don’t know that I’ve ever watched anyone quite as captivating before! There’s a great version of “let me down easy” from Splendour in the Grass 2018 on YouTube with the crowd chanting the lyrics to pretty much the entire song. They have some really beautiful Melbourne MTV Unplugged performances as well. The song “persevere” is also very special lyrically, but a lot more solemn sounding and understated. Would also definitely recommend Odette’s cover of their “Magnolia” on Like a Version, it’s stunning!

Love the love for Aussie artists - Gang of Youths being one hell of a kind. Their lyricism and musicianship is undeniable.

Thanks again for this one Blake - I might have to keep the Aussie acts coming when I get the chance 😊
