I wonder if someone's going to challenge Faida's position as the matriarch? I'm also reading Tofauti Sawa and Nuru is giving me Sahara vibes. (Which is funny typing that out, since there's also a character named Sahara in this comic.) Let's see if Faida can hold on to her position of power or if she's going to be driven away from her own clan. Meanwhile, Fikra and Kitendo are probably just watching this all unfold.

I think rationing it is smart but I too would worry about rot. But idk if hyenas don’t care about that. In any case, even if the world wasn’t ending, with the drought and lack of food means it’s still a good idea to ration. And there’s LOADS of meat.
