See Mosi, you and your sister were already avenged. Poetically too.

Raptorzs

Ooof Mosi.. Feeling that darkside energy..

vvingblade

My heart is so soft... I love how even though he's angry and lashes out, he doesn't bring out the claws. Sweetest boy ;;;;

Brekitty

And who was it exactly who stayed away from Africa for months? Mmhmm

XUhuruX

I hope this makes Mosi feel somehow better, knowing the one responsible for his sister's death and his state is already dead.

UnagiWolf

I understand she feels guilty for killing Sabra but what will she do now that her cub has returned. He's still at the age to be within his mother full care. She already refused to choose between the two. Emotionally not being considered good enough for your birth parent full love/attention is very self destructive. He is a product of what she taught him from a young age. Asking him to suddenly change to cater for her guilt, is selfish in its own way. If the two males cannot co-exist, she's essentially telling her son he's not worthy of her entire attention due to her personal guilt. Africa hasn't had to deal with true competition so far, mostly canines around her and a male cheetah. Let's put another female leopard in front of her and ask her to immediate make friends, see how well that turns out? (Again love the story, love the complexity of the characters, love the direction of it! Simply sharing my thoughts on their personal depths)

Morgran

I'm not sure Mosi will appreciate that answer Africa.

I can understand why Mosi hates Sabra so much. But Mondo is innocent in all this, he has done nothing wrong.

Stephanie Titarenko

I can see both points of view. I understand Africa's guilt and why she's raising Mondo. But like UnagiWolf said she is also being a little unfair to her son, expecting him to just be okay with the new situation because of her guilt. It's not Mondo's fault Sabra did what she did, but it's also not Mosi's. However, it IS Mosi's fault he was away for so long: if I were Africa I would point out that no one made him stay away for so long and he is asking questions now that he should have asked months ago when he first returned and saw Mondo in her care. Being away all this time has been really bad for his mental health, not to mention he is damn lucky he even survived long enough to be having this conversation with Africa now in the first place. The characters are well-written and I am really enjoying the story, but Mosi frustrates me because it really feels like he is trying to blame Mondo or even Africa for his own self-imposed exile when that was a choice he made, and against the advice of older and wiser characters, no less. Hopefully he can learn to let go of his hate before he meets an untimely end like Sabra.

JD

Yea, It seems he forgot he made that choice himself not Africa or anyone… he clearly wasn’t thinking before or even now

Pantera

Well, if Mosi can't run, he could never live independently... And Bibi and Africa won't be around forever. Things don't look good for him at all. I wonder what the future has in store for him.

Minke

true enough, though he really did just *barely* manage to miss every instance of her looking for him, which lead to him thinking she wasn't looking at all. not her fault, just unfortunate

Minke

he's still only a baby, hopefully age, practice, and time will help to dampen the pain (and if he can never use his paw to run, i bet he could get pretty good at being a tripod :3)

Concept

The characters have fur and tails, but the emotions they feel and the misunderstandings that haunt them are so human, so realistic. Arven has such phenomenal writing and I am NEVER disappointed!

RamblerJ

I'm still trying to get the hang of reading Mondo's face without including his "weary eye".
