You don't thank someone for killing another 💔 I get the pain but I don't think Africa will like that way of thinking

Mouri

Buddyyyyy stop half listening to Africa and then taking the absolute worst route ever to reply with.

Sheyrain

Oh Mosi! I hope this gives you some peace and closure 💜

Styrbofox

Mosi finally achieved peace💜 (and revenge I suppose)

UnagiWolf

Sabra clearly told Africa that she was looking for Mosi, she and the lions wouldn't leave the job unfinished. Sabra had to die to allow Mosi to live, this is a fact. Mosi is under or near six months old, he's still a baby in his own right and the second half of his life spent healing, re-learning how to walk and start learning how to hunt with Bibi. His way of thinking and responding will still be very black and white because of his isolation and strict education by Africa. So I can let him get away with a lot for his clumsy replies. I had to re-read the previous page and this page in a row to notice something. Her favoritism and quick defensiveness for Mondo. Africa purposely brought Mondo up because she's dead set on forcing Mosi to accept him/not hate him as quickly as possible. She didn't need to say “but Mondo isn't" she could have said "and Sabra faced death for her actions” and keep the topic focused on them. Mosi was obviously talking about Sabra feeding them to lions so I feel his outburst was validaded because his own mother brought up Mondo out of nowhere. It's their first time bonding alone and his own mother’s sole focus is to force him to accept another cub instead of keeping the topic of conversation on him or the both of them.

Concept

I love this interpretation, and I agree with your points! Mosi is still so young, inexperienced, very uninformed on a lot of the nuance and complexities of certain situations. "Thank you for killing Sabra" might not be what Africa wants to hear, considering she holds a lot of guilt over Mondo's reaction to learning what she did as well as the act itself. But being a parent and having a kid isn't about what you want from your child, it's about what your kid NEEDS from you. Mosi is like a teenager, he's been hurt, he's made bad choices, and he's troubled, but he's seeking guidance. It's up to his mom to provide that.

Fairytale93

I get that but at the same time she knows until he accepts Mondo then she will have to continue to choose between the them. They can't be around each other Mosi will kill Mondo if given the chance and that would destroy Africa

UnagiWolf

Agreed, but pushing her own agenda on Mosi is selfish and will simply make his animosity grow. At the end of the day, Mosi is her cub. If she chooses to stay with Mondo, Sabra will have won on finishing the job. Mosi will have died emotionally and that type of death might be even sweeter for Sabra because nothing is worst than having your birth child hate you because you chose his attempted murderer's child over himself.

I'm a sabra stan but I also just want everyone to be happy 🥲

RamblerJ

Sad to see how broken Mosi has become.

Katie

Let's hope Africa can convince Mosi to accept Mondo, at least to the point he won't try to kill him, cause switching the two of them back and forth every day doesn't sound very convenient in the long run.. especially not when there's more horrible stuff to come like the giant flood.

Maybe I’m wrong and I probably word this wrong but… wouldn’t Bibi be in a similar situation as Mondo? I mean Mosi didn’t like that Africa is raising Mondo as her son but suppose Africa may be hurt bacause Bibi basically raised Mosi who isn’t her son. What would Mosi say if Africa says or feels jealous of Bibi for “raising” and training him throughout his cubhood? Basically, Africa isn’t happy with Bibi for somewhat raising Mosi when he already has a mother? Just like how Mosi didn’t like Africa raising Mondo as her son when she already has a son? What would Mosi say to that? Sorry if this is confusing!
