Merry Christmas and as I predicted he would end up asking they stop talking about him because he wants to spend time together and enjoy themselves. But I have a feeling she will end up bringing him up again.

Merry Christmas! And I do agree it was a good idea to stop talking about Mondo. They need some time to catch up without Mosi feeling like Mondo is all his mom thinks and cares about. We, the readers, understand her concerns, and of course Mosi needs to stop blaming the kitten for a crime he had no part in. But now that the most glaring issues have been addressed ( why Africa starting raising the kitten and defends him so fiercely ) they need some time to, well, not quite pick up where they left off, because too much has happened, but get to know each other all over again and strengthen those bonds. Mosi's questions have been addressed, and now Africa is asking him some, too. I really hope she asks him why he decided to just run off and never come back ( in a timely manner, at least ) as opposed to confronting her back when he first saw her with Mondo. It may be something as simple as he was an emotional kid who wasn't thinking clearly, but it's a question I would for sure have. Mosi is extremely lucky that he lived long enough for this reunion, after all: there were several things that could have taken him out before now, everything from Bes ( had Bibi and the hyenas not been right there and ready to intervene ) from his wound getting infected to predation to starvation. Heck, he is lucky he survived the lions in the first place. They hurt him pretty bad, and it's a miracle they didn't decide to double-tap or eat him.
