She's not mom anymore?! My sweet baby Mondo!

Microgrampup

Has Africa still not explained the circumstances in which she killed Sabra?

XUhuruX

Ugh, I hope that's not the lions! 😶

She apologized for it but didn't explain. I think it was implied that Mondo can ask for more details + anything else if he wants to know more, but he didn't because to him, it probably doesn't matter too much. Finding out the mother he loved was terrible wouldn't detract from the fact that he loved her at the time, and perhaps might actually make him feel worse

Fairytale93

Illegal cliffhanger!!! 😱

Dawn

Bibi is like "Spill ALL the tea! I can keep a secret." Yet still be diligent and alert for trouble.

C-Rex

I wonder who they’re running from.

Katie

The previous page showed some big pawprints so I hope it doesn't mean it's the lions, but I'm scared.

Part of me is betting that after whatever comes their way and they get some privacy again mondo probably would explain what he knows so far what happened to his mother and perhaps Bibi will explain what she saw when she saw Africa being trapped by the lions and mondo’s mother before running to get the hyenas

Microgrampup

In the ask my characters anything, he explained that he’s afraid of Africa because she killed his mom. I assumed it was because he imagined that Africa hunted his mother down upon finding out. I also assumed that he was about to tell Bibi that he can’t be sure about calling Africa his mom due to his mother’s death. But you’ve shown me that explaining the details of his mom’s death might slightly solve the problem of him not being sure if Africa is safe, but open another can of worms of him having extreme guilt over what his mom did despite how innocent he is.

Then there's also the fact that Mondo hardly remembers Sabra - he was a neonate at the time.

Hey! Rustler! We're having a moment here!
