It's dawn again and we are back at the gorge for the swap. Mosi seems a little jumpy though :/

Just a little bit jumpy, nothing to worry about.

I'm curios why he didn't react like this to seeing Bes? He's the one who actually killed his sister and severely wounded him. It's still really sad to see him react like this to Mondo though. It appears it's gonna take a little while more to make it possible for them to be friends.

This quote, sadly, sums up both Chui and Sabra, the causes of all this: “Animals don't behave like men. If they have to fight, they fight; and if they have to kill they kill. But they don't sit down and set their wits to work to devise ways of spoiling other creatures' lives and hurting them. They have dignity and animality.” The difference is whether they kill to survive/to obey instinct, or whether they kill as collateral damage in the fulfillment of a plan. And Chui and Sabra fit into the latter category. Actually, they have become worse than humans - at least Man became the reason Mosi is alive now.

Mostly because the lions are too dense and they going do what lions do best. It’s Sabra who planned all of this.

Oof, Looks like Bibi sort of forgot that Mosi’s ptsd/instincts are the whole reason why they were enjoying different moms separately in the first place. 😬

Katie

Part of me wonders if this is Mosi dreaming. Why isn't Africa with him?

The Fluffy Birdcat

I'm thinking this is Mondo having a nightmare. It's got the same lighting as every other "dream" we've seen so far.

Dawn

Maybe Mosi needs another day with mom . . . . .

Dawn

Oh sheesh. If that's the case I assume the dream ends with Sabra killing Bibi.

I like to think that Mondo’s stripes match Mosi’s scars. Almost as if to say they have both been scarred by the event that caused massive hurt, that will always be a part of them.

This might be a dream - I don't think Bibi would be this careless with Mondo beside her knowing Mosi's instincts.

Really thankful for that gorge in the way right about now :"D Tbh I don't think this is a dream, just on the fact that this isn't rooted in a singular character's point of view. Mosi couldn't have known about Mondo and Bibi's run-in with the wild dogs, just as Mondo couldn't know that the apparition of his mother is making Mosi react that way. The dried up river is still in the way, so no one is in immediate danger. Mosi's on edge after the encounter with the lions the night before, so that's probably also affecting his nerves right now.
