I like how this makes a lot of sense in the context that they are still wild animals still trying to live the best life they can given their natural roles.

Other than Sabra being a total asshole by throwing Africa and her cubs under the bus, this helps explain why Mosi was so upset when he saw Mondo with his mother. Feelings of not being able to protect Binti, feeling like Africa abandoned him, and then seeing her protect the cub of the cat who tried to have him killed. It's a lot for a kid to take in and process.

That's a bad kitty. A really, really bad kitty. I wonder what she wants her legacy to be, though? Leopard Slayer? Ultimate Revenge Cat? She sure does have nerves of steel. Too bad for her it didn't help her in the end. Poor Mosi, seeing and hearing ( I presume ) all of this. :( He really is, as someone else pointed out, in a negative headspace right now. It's a lot to take in.

I guess I was wrong about this page: https://www.deviantart.com/arven92/art/Africa-Page-179-833385637 I was wondering why Mosi's pupils dilated here, looking like he saw something curios, shouldn't they have shrunk in fear if it's Bes he saw? Anyway, it's a minor detail and total nitpick, I just thought he saw someone else before Bes because of his pupils ^^; It's so sad to see Binti again TT__TT
