Cyclops from Marvel's X-Men.

A little drawing I worked on between commissions, haven't decided how I want to finish it yet.

Thank you, I love drawing Cyclops when I can. Him and Rogue are my favorite X-Men.

Love seeing him in your style, I also dig Rogue. Edit: growing up I also and still like Psylocke/ Betsy Braddock

Awesome! Same here. Psylocke is pretty cool too—sans that one run where the writers decided to have her try and use her telepathy to get Scott to leave Jean for her. That was… problematic and reductive on so many levels.

Yeah there's always gonna be those really wired one off runs that happen unfortunately. I haven't read that but I do know there are again thoe bad moments in a run.

OverlordMetal

It was unfortunately on a rather prominent series, their famous '90s run. It climaxes X-Men vol. 2 #20 (1993). Thankfully, not what her character is remembered by for the most part, but it comes up every now and then. Fortunately, it was dropped quickly due to how much fans and other creators hated it. While it created unnecessary tension for Cyclops and Jean Grey (cheesy forced love triangle from a bad soap opera), it threatened to assassinate Psylocke's character since the story had her planting thoughts into Scott's head to try and groom him (Marvel loves grooming Cyclops for some reason) into liking her and leaving Jean. The most she got out of him was a kiss before he rejected her in favor of remaining committed to Jean, who later confronted her as well about it. Had Psylocke been introduced as a problematic character, it would have been one thing, but she was a considerably more amiable in previous runs. Thankfully, they found ways to explain why she was behaving so badly and the character recovered, remaining a fan-favorite X-Man to this day. She also famously enjoys an on and off relationship with Angel, which is far more compelling than having her serve as the foil in a cheesy romantic drama no one asked for.
