Que pasa, my duuuuuuuuuuuudes!!!!Alright, amigos, now it’s time to put Hulk Hogan under the Wicked microscope!!!!We want to take one more close look at his likeness, so we’re bringing you the gray renders, where you can see the sculpt in its cleanest form, without the lighting, skin tones, colors and render effects that can sometimes change how certain facial features are perceived.

Take a good look at the face, expression, and all those little details that make a likeness click, and tell us what your eyes are seeing!!!!So come talk to us!!!! Io usually like your work, but this time I need to be honest, the likeness is very off :( you may take inspiration from thunder lips of Rocky III to hit the nail in terms of Hulk hogan likeness :)

I'm seeing the older hulk Hogan in the images above which isn't bad but I think people were expecting younger 80s version of hulk in his prime. I'd love to see a NWO version of the Hogan down the line sometime personally

This is a hard one. I think the biggest thing for me is he has barely any mustache in your renders. In his prime and especially later he had HUGE thick bars running down nearly to his jaw line. That was his number 1 calling card. Beef that up and I think it'll be rockin!

There’s a lot wrong. He had a longer face. The sculpt seems to look too short forehead to chin. The nose also seems a bit off. His nose wasn’t that fat at the bridge of his nose. Not sure why but the eyes seem too close as well. And finally the yelling look is his signature look.

I agree 100% you nailed it! His yelling is what is throwing me off with this. The image you have used here is what I would expect from a Hogan sculpt.

I think the ear cup head looks great, but I opted for that version mainly cause didn't like the head of the shirt rip. Know it'll be the same model but the expression just didn't work for me.

My thoughts exactly. His fave is more truncated trapezoid. As sculpted, it's oval. And his head isn't oval. So yes, the aspect ratio (height/width) needs to be higher.

For anyone who has grown up seeing him, its very easy to "spot" even a small difference in any of his features. Its really not easy for the sculpter. What if... what if... you guys can probably add a mapping (colors and texture file) instead of just grey? Might be easier to tell what went wrong. Just a suggestion.

99% of the time I recognize the face you are doing immediately... The only way I would have gotten this one is from the head wrap and and body pose... HH has a long neck and had he been 140lb weakling it would have been ridiculously long. Only because of his mass does he look proportional ... I'd say your sculpt looks like he's pulling his chin back into his neck and neck and head down into his shoulder blades. I saw him up close and in person a couple of times and he's one of the few people I know who can get that big without looking like a fireplug...

I agree on the nose ... it widens out as it meets the face but the sculpt is too rounded... his nose has a sharper ridge running down to that cauliflower at the tip and spreading out as it meets his face.

Question, is there a place to download the new hulk and stone cold faces? Or are those not out yet?

Hey my dude! The faces are actually exactly the same! We just wanted to show you some new grayscale renders so you could see the sculpt from a better perspective. We feel the colored renders may have affected how some of the details came across, so we thought these new views would give you a clearer look at the model itself!
