Happy beginning of the week, amigos!!! Our Universal Monsters family is making room for a new guest!!!! We’re returning to the old laboratory for a moment that has stayed with us long after the movie ended. She’s only just opened her eyes, and everyone around her already seems to have plans for her. Meanwhile, she’s discovering her own movements, reaching toward her creator and trying to find her balance. There’s something deeply moving about watching this extraordinary creature take those first uncertain steps!!!! Roll out the red carpet for our haunting, elegant and absolutely electrifying Bride of Frankenstein Sculpture and Portrait Bust!!!!

Her pose comes from the scene where she reaches toward Henry Frankenstein, moving toward the hand he offers her. Her gaze follows him, and the leading finger helps carry that reaching gesture forward. We wanted to preserve how unfamiliar moving still feels to her, like someone discovering the world through her own body!!!!

And beneath her, we’ve gathered little pieces of that world for you to explore. Come take a little walk around the base:At the front, the stone tower represents the laboratory’s watchtower, complete with battlements, narrow windows and projecting gargoyles. Death resting on his sword and the praying angel frame the cemetery, while the lantern recalls the grave robbers entering the mausoleum. The Bride of Frankenstein lettering finishes this little entrance into the movie’s world!!!!

On the owl side, our feathered witness recalls the opening scenes at the ruined windmill, where it watches the Creature emerge. Leaning crosses, rough wooden fencing and bare branches continue the graveyard around the tower, with hanging chains echoing the story’s imagery of captivity.

On the angel side, the rear of the praying statue comes into view beside another crooked grave marker and twisted branches. Rocky ground and broken stone walls carry the cemetery around the sculpture, keeping every angle connected to that wonderfully bleak setting!!!!

At the back, electrical cylinders, bulbs, insulators, wiring, a large wheel and a panel of gauges and switches recreate the laboratory atmosphere, with a suspended skeleton completing the anatomical theme. Below, the coffin with its ring handles becomes Pretorius’s dinner table, arranged with a cloth, bones, a skull between two candles and a wine bottle. The crucifix recalls the religious imagery surrounding the cemetery and the hermit’s home, the violin and bow remember the blind man whose music offers the Creature friendship and comfort. An iron railing frames this whole macabre gathering!!!!

And last, we've also included a simple base for those who prefer a cleaner, more classic display!!!! The choice is yours!

This is your first glimpse of our haunting September Movies Term!!!! Our next guest will be bringing the treats, amigos, so start warming up those machines. It’s almost time to bring some monsters to life!!!!As always, muchas gracias for riding with us, for cheering our art, and for making this community the dream squad we always hoped for. We feel insanely lucky to create what we love with the dudes who love it too!!!

Enjoy the view!!! And keep an ear out, another old movie legend has been making himself very comfortable somewhere beneath the stage!!!!And keep your mind, heart and soul today and forever Wicked!!! Peace out, amigos!!!

This is absolutely fantastic. Would be cool if a bust had her mouth open head tilted back.

BobaFett

On another note, your models are absolutely incredible. Have you ever thought of doing one with eye sockets so we could insert like glass eyes?

BrianP

Beautiful sculpt!

Bostoncats

Yes! Yes! Yes! And as always, the base is divine.

Hey Boba! What's uuuuuuuuuuuup! We're so glad you liked it! For now, we've gone with a slightly more serious version, but we'll definitely discuss your suggestion with the team and see if we can add the version you mentioned in the future! Thanks so much for sharing your idea with us!

Hey mi amigo! What's uuuuuuuuuuuup! Yes! We know this is one of those features our community really enjoys, and we'll do our best to include it in as many models as possible! Thanks so much for your feedback and support!

So, there’s a designer who makes the most amazing dragon book nooks. One version can be painted, either by hand or in the slicer, and another has an eye socket designed for an 8 mm glass eye. I’ve been making those, and they come out absolutely incredible! Now, imagine combining that with the realism already present in your models. I honestly can’t even imagine how amazing something like Frankenstein’s Bride would look, or really any of your designs. The level of detail would be unreal! Thank you so much for considering my suggestion and taking the time to look into it. I really appreciate it!

Luca De Gregoriis
