THE FEATURES!!!!Our Phantom of the Opera Sculpture follows Lon Chaney’s unforgettable 1925 portrayal, with his accusing gesture and long cloak falling around his period suit. The patterned rug beneath his feet recalls the furnishings of his underground home, while the Portrait Bust gives that extraordinary face a stage of its own!!!!The base brings together scenes from across the film, so let’s take a little tour!!!At the front, the wooden stage and parted curtains sit beneath an ornate arch, framed by decorated columns inspired by the opera house’s boxes. The singer and two ballet dancers recall its performances and backstage ghost stories, beneath the chandelier he drops during Carlotta’s performance.

At the back, the organ’s keyboards, rows of stops, open sheet music and padded bench recall his underground home and the unmasking. Above it, a crowned, winged figure holding a lyre stands between two seated figures, evoking the opera house’s rooftop scene. Christine’s hand mirror, marked with her name, rests beside the organ. Opposite it, the skull mask and feathered hat recall his Red Death appearance at the masked ball!!!!

On the boat side, the boat recalls Christine’s journey across the underground lake to his lair. A ballerina stands beside the stone steps, with timber beams framing the passage. His silhouette appears inside a monstrous, open-jawed entrance!!!!

On the opposite side, layered clouds and winged figures recreate the heavenly scenery from Faust, the opera performed in the film. Two figures stand before a round backdrop within the stone arch, with more angels gathered among the clouds below!!!!

For our Bride of Frankenstein Sculpture, we have a simple base option already included in today’s download!!!! One more setting for those first uncertain steps into your collection!!!!And for our Phantom of the Opera Sculpture there is an upcoming simple base option too!!!
