Ay, let's pray, my dudes!Hope you like it and let us know what you think in the comment section below! The model will be ready around the 5th of October, so you have enough time to get the holy water and prepare the place where you will put it in the house. Perfectly timed for halloween!Alright my dudes, we will keep working here because there is 3 busts still to show, so we will have them pretty soon for you! Also this week we will have famous comic poll, and it will be a special one!For now, enjoy the models and muchas gracias for all your support and love, amigos! Holey Hell....this is going to be a beast......

Ramiro Carrasco Jr.

Wow! It's incredible. How can such an ugly monster of a Devil be sculpted to be so damn beautiful? I don't know but you did it. It's gorgeous. The base... well you know I love your bases but this one may well be the best one so far. It's perfect. I always want a name plate for people to know who it is but I don't think you should cover any part of the base with a name plate, it's just too awesome to cover up. Maybe, just maybe make it a separate piece so it can be placed just in front of the statue so it doesn't cover any of the beautiful base. Don't mess with perfection. Damn it, I can't wait to start working on this one. The skin textures look fantastic. The details for the several skeletons are wonderful and very well proportioned at those angles. I especially like the blood overflowing from the edge of the base. Another superb detail that's not wasted on me is the shackles hanging from the horns. From the front they look like just that, shackles yet from the rear of the throne they look more like terrifyingly macabre dangling ear rings. It's an excellent yet subtle point of interest. There's so much to like and well... nothing to dislike. I love all the texture, it'll make it so much easier to paint and will look so much better for it. I'm not familiar with this comic book character but thanks to this model I think I need to learn about him. Well done. Very well done. I'd buy the sculptor a beer if he were here.

Hector

Hey Ramiro, my duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!! We will drink all the beers you want with someone who has such sharp eye! You got almost every detail we put on it, and dude, believe me, when you take a close look at it, you will find the real value of the textures. We are very proud and happy with this one, and dude, with a little clear resin in the base, and a couple of leds in the right place, this one will look TERRIFIC!!! We feel pretty happy that you enjoy the model that much, and don't worry, my dear SF friend! It will be in your printer preeeeeeeeeeetty soon. 3dWicked

We had to, my dear Nate! We want to create a sculpture that makes a scene, that gives you a real taste of what the character is like, and dude, like someone said: the devil is in the details!

3dWicked

Muchas gracias, my dear Doutremer! We wanted to improve the look of our faces too, because most of the time we make them serious, and well, kinda static. Now we will try to give them expressions, and put that magic in motion!!!

3dWicked

Muchas gracias, my dear German! This one will be a nice piece for your collection!

3dWicked

We understand your pain, my dear amigo! We are in the same boat in our country. We like to think that you will get a nice backlog when the resin becomes cheaper!!

The fep has split twice, second time it flooded the whole box fusing the stepper motor took it apart fixed that then the a piece of anti backlash nut broke off replaced that now it won't let me level the build plate.

Logun

Oh I wasnt complaining lol its a super bitchen base!

Ramiro Carrasco Jr.

Yes, you're right. They don't currently put name plates on their statues but I hope they will change that. It may not be convenient but I'm a huge proponent for name plates. It's the art and business aspect it provides that I value. For the art side, the name plates provide another opportunity to excel and If done correctly, it provides more canvas for the the artist to take advantage of. The artist can use it to tie separate pieces together in a collection as in "Leia, Luke, Han, Chewy". It can help denote factions with slight variations such as one style for The Light side vs a slightly different style for the Dark side and still be unique to that figure and setting. With the right intensity and detail, the name plates can help the overall aesthetic of a set, range or brand. That brings us to the business side of it. The name plate provides valuable information to anyone not familiar with the art or brand. For example, (this happened to me with the "Hulk Gladiator") someone, anyone, who sees "Mephisto, the collector of souls" and thinks "Wow, that's awesome. I want one of those" but doesn't know who the model is of nor who created it may loose interest in buying it because it's not convenient for him to do so. We live in a time where people can get on their phones and buy it right there, on the spot. I've done that on several occasions when I've discovered something I really like. I'm not a young man. I've been around the world several times and I've learned many things along my journey. Among those things is this, Business success comes down to four primary tasks. 1. Provide an excellent service or product. 2. Provide quick and accurate billing. 3. GET YOUR MONEY. 4. Get another customer. Now there are of course many, many implied tasks and sub-tasks to this but this is the main "Mission Critical" tasks list. With this in mind, the "Name Plates" should always clearly provide the name of the subject and the creator of the model. In this case it would be "Mephisto, the collector of souls by Wicked" or "Wicked's Mephisto, the collector of souls". With this information everyone has the "Who and What" and can easily find the "Where, and how much". Which of course is #4. Get another customer. It's business success I want for Wicked and that's why I would like there to be fantastic Name Plates for every single model they produce. This is a bit of a long response but I felt it necessary to establish why I feel it's important. It's not for me, it's for the growth and prosperity of Wicked.

3dWicked

Yes, it will, my dear Alex! We think that the base in clear resin, and maybe a couple of leds in the throne, and boom!

3dWicked

Si señor! Ya hay una medida final y es 410mm en la escultura! Va a ser bastante grande, mi querido Andres!

3dWicked

It's out already, my friend! Just print away! You will love it!

3dWicked

Oh man, we're so sorry to read that, my dear amigo! Maybe you can check our facebook group and ask there! You can get some ideas. Our community is the best and we have lots of dudes with much experience on 3d printing! Maybe someone faced these issues in the past and can give you some light!

Andrés

Ohhh nice, ni he revisado el archivo jajaja, pero esta bello

3dWicked

Happy to read that, my dear Tai! Hope you give the Mephisto a try with your beautiful painting!

3dWicked

Muchas gracias, my dear dude! Man, we had that idea for a sculpture long time ago, but didn't find the right character to do it, and boom, here comes Mephisto! He is just perfect for it!

3dWicked

Que pasa, Ramiro! First of all, thank you for taking the time to write and share your perspective with us, my dear amigo! It helps a lot to read and know other point of views of Wicked! Also, it warms our heart to know that you care about us that much <3 And before we continue, we love you too!! Now, about the name plates. You're 100% right. We need something to identify Wicked in the models. What we don't want it's something as intrusive like in the busts, because its a nice touch, but it's not for everyone. We are thinking on something small, elegant which the info needed. Also we need it to be optional. With these parameters in ming, we will work on it in the next couple of terms! As you said, it will help to spread the good Wicked word around. As soon we have something, you will be the first to know about it, my dear amigo!

Ramiro Carrasco Jr.

You can nicely print the statue's name and "Wicked" on the bottom of the base until you decide on something else. Fast and easy. I it's a good idea to do this on all models just as a standard practice even if you decide on something else. It will not take away from the model and it'll always be there.

Red Dragon9870

For this sculpture is there any plans to have the throne by itself when split so there is no parts of Meph on there?

3dWicked

Sure! It's a nice idea, my dear amigo! We will take a look on how we can implement it for the following terms. Still, we want something fancy and classy, something small. We will see what we come up with and see if you guys like it!

3dWicked

Hey Dragon, what's uuuuuuuuup, my dude! Mmm you mean have the base and the throne but without Mephisto? In one sole piece?

3dWicked

Heeeey Jay, my dear amigo, Just check your inbox!!

MC

How do I download this one!? I love it!!

3dWicked
