I spend a lot of time on google maps “driving” around in street view, or flying around satellite view trying to find new and interesting locations to shoot. It can be really difficult because often the most interesting spots are covered by trees, or interesting things have changed since the photos were taken. I found this old wooden bridge and was just so blown away that it even still existed!!
It was shown on the maps as being functional and in use, a truck was driving over it! So I drove out to it to check it out and it turns out it’s been closed, BUT IT’S STILL THERE!!! So I took Mackenzie out there even though it has holes in it and is a little sketch to be on. We had a ton of fun, and there were so many cars going by, only about 20 feet away!! Nobody seemed to notice we were there though so we had a great shoot. At one point we even got interrupted by a groundhog at one point. That little guy was a real chonker!
