Spent an evening hanging out with Quinn, we wound up staying up the entire night by accident and decided to go do a sunrise shoot when we realized it was 6am. Off we went to find a suitable location even though we had zero plans ahead of time to do any photography whatsoever. We were just hanging out, playing games, looking through photos, talking, having a blast. Next thing I know I’m desperately trying to gather my gear in time to get going before sunrise despite being ridiculously tired and therefore out of it.
Off we went to the river, and when we arrived the sun was up and time was running out, but the rain had been heavy recently and the river was crazy high and BROWN. It looked terrible. So we went back up, took some photos by the lake instead of the river, and then left saddened about the state of the river.
Then I spotted a field that looked PERFECT, but...it was right next to the main road on a morning with a TON of morning commuters driving by. Still though, we said fuck it and just went for it! Tons of stares, cars slowing down, honks, and by the end I took a couple shots with the cars in just so you can see, using a wide angle lens so they’ll look a little further away than they were, but yeah this was not nearly as rural as it’s going to look haha.Also turns out fields are COVERED in spider webs in the morning, if you look close you’ll see them all!
