This question is for Sam: I am a fellow person in recovery and have 14 months clean and sober through working a 12 step program. During this time I have abstained from taking any mood or mind altering drugs. However, now that the obsession has been removed my desire now is to build upon my spiritual life. I have not had a traditional "spiritual awakening", my experience has been of the educational variety. I am considering trying hallucinogenics to try and open my mind and body to a new experience. What are your thoughts on using Psychadelics in recovery for a spiritual purpose? Love the show and am a huge fan of yours! Thanks for your time.
