Late november check-in (Patreon)

Hi all! I just wanted to do a little checkin before the next month. While I have been busy, I've been able to put in some decent work still. I have started filling in some of the empty interviews with writing and have made a start on coding basic show mechanics. I'll be expanding on these later but for now they'll be quite similar to movies with the difference of being able to renew them for more seasons.

I've also been thinking out the p0rn mechanics in my head. So far I think I'm gonna go for free-form scene creation where the player gets to link together scenes in a custom order to create simple or really complex scenes. I want to store these in a sort of hex code format so the game should be able to store hundreds of scenes without being bogged down like MAiH1 (which stored scenes as huge amounts of text). I'll then have to code a reader for these codes, which is gonna be a one-time pain in the ass for sure but it'll ensure the game keeps running well as the player progresses.

That's the sort of shit I'm thinking of now. I'm already crashing the editor sometimes because of how big the game is becoming and I need to work on keeping things as streamlined as possible because I'm not even halfway done with the features. It'll be fine, it just needs some work and some clever solutions.

As for the next update, I'm shooting for mid to late december. It'll have shows, music and p0rn in their most bare form and hopefully will have all the empty interviews filled in. That'll conclude the business mechanics bare basics and then I'll be taking some time to redo the entire way celebrities are built up to both save resources and prepare them for the next phase: relationships and sex. I already have it all in my head and it's honestly gonna be epic. It's also probably gonna take the better part of 2025 to get it all done.

Last thing before I go: I closed voting on the p0rnstars because I've started implementing them. I added only the 3 manager options at first, which'll be Gina Valentina, Lana Rhoades and Riley Reid. Soon I'll add the top 15, perhaps a few more if it feels too empty. They'll be added as full girls, meaning you can also choose them as sister/best friend and build full relationships once that gets going. It's gonna be fun :)
