The rocky road to a Faemon design (Patreon)

Hello people 👀

I am delighted to tell you I got two new Faemons in store
HERE'S ONE OF THEM and my insane amount of variations I tried before settling on the final design

I haven't thought of a name for her yet, but she's a female Firefly Faemon.
I tried to challenge myself by picking a bug Pokemon I personally don't like or find boring and - instead of doing a classic REDESIGN - create an entirely new Pokemon from scratch based on the same concept.

I chose Volbeat and Ilumise because I find them quite plain and forgettable for being Firefly Pokemon - I don't hate them, I think Ilumise is pretty cute - but I constantly forget that they exist and they barely read a Fireflies and Gamefreak never did anything with them. IN FACT, Gamefreak really seems to like to sweep them under the rug...

So I will be creating two Firefly Faemon, male and female and put my own spin on the concept. I am not revealing the male yet but I think you're gonna love it 👀 I'm sure you can already recognize the theme I'm going for in the female's design
