Steven x OC Commisson - Progress Gif (Patreon)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Second commission finished this month!!! Now off to the next - WELL, not immediately, I am still careful with how much I work per day :'D Yesterday I spent the day preparing the printing files for my card set - they're now officially in production, I am so so curious how the first sets are gonna turn out...

This commission was for Pitty of his OC of the same name together with Steven :D You'll see an awkward phase in the progress gif of me trying to mimmick the eyes of the references I was given... sometimes I try too hard to capture the "essence" of a character and immitate certain style aspects of given references to depict the OC as accurate as possible - which works sometimes, but other times it just ends up looking off-putting and not like the character AT ALL and even less like I drew it.

Luckily I caught myself in the act and checked back with Pitty if he preffered I'd completely redo the expression, 100% in my own style, the way I FELT like the character was supposed to look... and it worked!

Trials and errors, but in the end a result I am happy with :D
