IMPORTANT NOTICE - Future Patreon iOS Policies (Patreon)

Hello everybody! I come with an important update directly from Patreon:

For all of you, who are using the official Patreon app on iOS, beginning November 2024 Apple is forcing Patreon to adapt to their fees for all apps listed on the Apple store. That means that memberships and other online purchases on the iOS app version of Patreon will be more expensive than on the Desktop version for example.

HOWEVER - These changes do not apply to current paying Patrons!
Everyone who's already a paying Patron using the iOS App will not be affected by this increase! Your payment for your subscription will stay the same.

The change does ONLY affect new members considering to join one of the paid tiers via the iOS Patreon app.

So for everybody using iOS, I HIGHLY recommend buying your subscription from your PC instead to avoid Apples attrocious fees coming in November.

Patreon has given creators the choice to either automatically increase their prices on the iOS app or to pay for the fees themselves with their income - I cannot come up for the fees myself, I really can't, so I had to go for the automatic increase.

But again, new members can avoid the fee by purchasing their subscription from the Desktop version instead.
Here is the mentioned Help Center article from Patreon for more information.

To my current members, again, no need to panic! You are safe from any increases to your pledge. This is only important to all my followers possibly considering to join my Patreon in the future. Please make sure you get your subscription on PC or any other device outside the Apple Store!

Thanks for reading!
