Man. I KNOW I drew that old Galar comic REALLY ROUGHLY IN A HURRY back then but sTILL

The difference between old and new are like night and day AKKGFDLKGLFLKGF

Left: August 2024
Right: Novembr 2019

Shadow of the Leafs and everything in the background has been kept identical so far, I didn't want to do a COMPLETE overhaul

LOVE IT. The redraw looks absolutely wonderful, but I gotta say the old one just adds a little bit of unknown emotion.

Old one is more 'tired of this shit' and new one is more 'oh my god I'm not dealing with this shit'.

Yeah they both have their charms :D And I'm glad that you caught that, because the intention behind the emotion on the left HAS changed from the original, so it IS supposed to communicate something different than the original on the right

I love that El doesn’t want to watch the Galar League. Such an attitude always made me think the reason was do to her entering said League, but losing (badly) to Leon. lol. Don’t take offense! I just love Leon so much, that I can never picture that man losing!

LMAO Naaa she never entered the Galarian League, she only did Kalos' and Hoenn's Gym challenge She's just not much of a SPORTS gal to watch battles on TV 😂 (AND some other reasons I'll get into soon, no spoilers yet hehehe)
