O̵c̵t̵o̵b̵e̵r̵ SPOOKY MONTH Community Update 2024 (Patreon)

OCTOBER. IT IS HERE FOLKS
THE SPOOKY MONTH IS UPON US

Aaaand I have plenty of things on my list for this month so let's get to it!

GAME STREAMS WILL RETURN THIS MONTH on Discord! Look out for announcements on the server, I'll most likely plan some community game nights for Jackbox games or Last Train Outta Wormtown!

Also thinking about planning something special for Halloween, but nothing's set in stone yet 🤔 It's unfortunately on a THURSDAY so let's see what can be done...

MERCH PRODUCTION

This week I'll specifically focus on getting some merch done. I've been meaning to design and print some custom STICKERS for the very first time (yes you can get stickers from me on Redbubble but I never printed any MYSELF for convention merch)
and I'll also be refining my custom horse cards before doing another test print of the set at printed.com

I received my prototype print in the mail last month, but unfortunately once again the cut is not as clean as I was hoping for.

 However, the PRINT quality itself is the BEST one I had so far, so after a long search and many trials and errors, I have decided to order my cards as uncut sheets at printed.com and cut all cards myself at home. So I will be investing in new cutting equipment this month.

Before the cards go in production, I will do one final test-order for a sheet with 9 cards printed on, to check if the colors are all fine and the double-sided print is done correctly. Until I do another order though, I want to settle on an official name for the set, "Galloping Guardians" is quite a mouthful, so I'll go back into brainstorming for something more catchy.

POLARIS 2024

While I won't be attending the convention as a vendor, I've decided I'll be visiting the Polars Convention in Hamburg this October as a regular visitor. Polaris is still a fairly new convention, but has grown RAPIDLY over the last 2 years, so I want to check it out, get an idea of the place and hopefully sign up on time for the next one in 2025!
ALSO some friends will be vendoring there, so I wanna say hi :D

POKEMON STUFF

After a record of finishing 3 comic updates (yes, 3, for realsies) in an UNUSUALLY short span of time, the next comic part will take more work again, as it will be a segway into another LONGER comic and I DESPERATELY need to properly storyboard that one first and probably set some interior backgrounds up in BLENDER again... Printing files for merch come first though, as this will be quicker to finish and I REALLY want to get it off my list to send it off to production.

Really itching to make some new Pokemon prints too actually, I'll keep you guys updated on that...

COMMISSIONS
Will as always be worked on parallely to everything else. Thank you all once again for your interest, I'm still occupied with getting to all my clients and getting their concepts listed :D

There will be one more community update this month in regards to Halloween, so keep an eye open for it!
