Freya - WILL BE BACK JULY 4th (Patreon)

As mentioned in my monthly schedule, I'll be on a short vacation for my birthday (1. July), starting tomorrow till Sunday :D
I'll be spending the week in East Frisia, which is a coastal region in Germany! I always wanted to visit it, so I'm excited to finally see it for myself!

So until then, here is a page of rough sketches I recently did of Freya, a young clover sprite (/red clover dragon). She's Fios sister and will play a major role in the events of the book I'm currently working on.

I always have a...very different approach to how I design my book characters  compared to how I usually work. I try to stay rough, to not correct anything and sketch things out as quickly as possible to get a first feeling of the character. It prevents me from falling into that unhealthy state of "it HAS to look perfect and exactly how I imagine it, IMMEDIATELY".

Working like this is WAY more fun and it still brings results, so that I can move on to a second sheet of new poses and a more defined color scheme.
