Aww this one was so funny! I loved cheeky Rory, getting them all in trouble... And the little bit of mess that ensues afterwards! At least the managed to fix things, this time!

Like I mentioned in the outro, I do adore these minisodes. They are like little short stories, and I bet they are so much fun for the cast & crew. They get to explore little ideas that would never make it to a bigger episode. It's just so fun!

I hope you enjoy 💜🤗

Once again, I have never seen many of these Smith era minisodes! I have enjoyed getting to see something new from this show that I've seen SO much.

I'd just like to point out that this is not how the original episode was edited. This is a fan (ChickenScratch Pro on Youtube) edit that 1. combines the two parts into one, hence the intro music and credits showing up twice. and 2. the time loops are not a part of the original episode, they literally are just the same moment that are copy paste by the fan. Don't get me wrong I think this is a way better edit of the minisode, I love that we see the time loop from both perspectives, but I thought Id let you know :D

Death Lego

I had shared the original episodes as two separate minisodes back in August, as well as Bad Night and Good Night. But going with the fan edit was obviously the prefered choice. This does distort the original work a little bit. But like you say, not that it really matters all that much.

OverWims

As mentioned by other people, this is a fan edit and not the original version. The original doesn't have scenes repeated when people go into the TARDIS.

I love these minisodes! They're so entertaining. I can't help but think that, though the whole bit about Amy wearing a skirt was funny, they really sexualised her in an unnecessary way. But watching her flirt with herself was hilarious, and I loved Rory's reaction to the whole thing. So yeah, I understand the comedic side, but also the other side lol. Being able to see both sides of the coin can oftentimes put a dampener on something that's meant to be funny and light-hearted 😂

Even although it's a fan edit, it works so much better this way. When you watch it back, you'll notice that it always follows the original Amy, so we are seeing it from her perspective.

Wait... this was a fan edit?! HAHA I had no idea! Sorry!

SeeJay

Promise you it was the better decision to watch this version. It's 100% better, and makes way more sense.

Rory is honestly SUCH a goofy sweetheart! I adore him! You're right about Amy flirting with herself, that was so funny 😅

xjuliettex

Honestly, I didn't know there were any differences. I'm sorry for any confusion! I'll do better.

xjuliettex

The minisodes are wonderful, aren't they?! I feel they give so much creative freedom for the writers and actors, getting to have a bit of fun with these little stories.

xjuliettex

That makes me feel better! I honestly didn't realise... I felt quite bad for watching the wrong one, but you've made me feel better. Thank you!!

Kthulhu

Amy's so sexy she almost destroyed Time & Space!

Joel Featherstone

It combines the two parts into a single minisode and it gives some extra comedy by showing each repeated loop. It's a clever edit and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

At the end of the day, if Karen was OK with it, I don't see any issue. Sex is a thing that exists. Some people embrace that, and enjoy being perceived as sexy. And it's been pretty clear that Amy is one of those people.

Mels Chaos

I never said otherwise...? I love how confident Amy is, especially how she flirted with herself shamelessly (as I already said). Her character is awesome, and Karen is incredible in the role. I only meant that my mind connects a lot of dots in these situations. Such as that bit where The Doctor tells Amy to put trousers on - that was unnecessary because Amy shouldn't feel shamed (not that she ever would because she's awesome) for wearing what she loves, and other people's responses are their own issues (in this case, Rory's her husband so him being distracted is more funny and adorable).

FUN FACT: This is not Karen Gillan's first appearance in DW. Way back in Season 4, she was one of the oracle's attendants in FIRES OF POMPEII.

April

Love how Rory adores her.

Jerry Setty (SpTigerJD1)

I really need to catch up on the full reactions, already a series behind. As usual, enjoying them and hoping you are doing well.
