I get Dawn's concern about bringing in more potentials. It's true that they are extra hands in a fight, but when dealing with an enemy that fights by playing on fears to manipulate and can’t be physically fought, making more easy targets for the First to prey on might not be the best idea. I think it’s the right decision though because they can’t be protected from the bringers otherwise.

Nice new staking logo! And yes, Vi is played by Felicia Day. Btw, have you read my recommendation for "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" some weeks ago? It's a little side project by the Whedon brothers and Maurissa Tancharoen with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Filion (Mal of Firefly) and also Felicia Day. It's available e.g. on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Of9kHpCv1ts?si=9Hc3V2bTaT_rWyDD) and there shouldn't even be any copyright issues for a full audio-on version (I hope). It's only about 45 minutes long, originally it was released in 3 minisodes.

Ahh I actually reacted to Dr Horrible after I saw Firefly but I didn't like the reaction for some reason (I can't remember) and it's too old now so I am afraid it's lost to the cutting room floor 🤣 It was BRILLIANT!

Surprisingly... No! I have about as much interest in it as you do Juliette! 😂 I've had my fill of that world. Also it's a multiplayer game and I like to play solo nowadays.

Last episode and this one are two of my favorites from this season. I really love season 7 so much, and I'm glad you're enjoying it as well. We're now at the part of the season where a lot of fans feel it goes downhill due to the arrival of the potentials. I agree with what you said about them at the end of your reaction, that they can be too mouthy and negative. I definitely get why people don't like them because their attitudes are definitely bothersome to me to an extent as well. However, I do really like the potential storyline in general, so I just kind of look past their annoying qualities. Plus, you have to keep in mind that they're all teenagers and don't have the experience that Buffy has, so some of their feelings are understandable when you realize that they're just scared kids.

On what demon can open the “Eye of Botox” – Juliette: “Clem will do it, he’s awesome”. I love your appreciation of Clem! You recognized Felicia Day immediately: bonus points. Your recognition of Giles not touching anything: even more bonus points. “Everything’s dodgy” – the spirit of season seven. Camden Toy also played the hilarious “Prince of Lies” in Angel, season seven, but you hadn’t seen it yet.
