Sad Twig Dance Progression (Patreon)

I've been meaning to share this but I've been a bit busy lately! Thank you for being patient <3 Here's a little breakdown of my process with this

Rough pose blocking. I focus on the key poses and try to get a sense of the timing

Roughs + inbetweening. Torso and arms are mirrored, so legs were done separately

Base animation done!

Secondary animation. At this point I saved a new file for the alternate version before adding the clothes.

Shadow blocking. I usually scribble out the shading to get a better sense of the form as it moves before going back through and cleaning it up.
