Hey crew, you've seen a lot of new content this month... 3D, Dungeondraft assets, landing pages. These are all directions we can take further or put 'em to bed.

We'd like to hear from YOU... what do you want to see more of in the future? Feel free to add any clarifications or other ideas in the comments, or find us on Discord.

I want to check them all

Filofej

I think few a few more interactable furnitures will be cool to have, like locked/unlocked chests, closed/looted cupboards and others. Overall, I really love your content!

Baileywiki

Oh ok, so like... Vibrating bed. Vibrates if you have a quarter in your inventory. Vending machine. 60% failure rate. On a successful strength check, a Snickers appears in your inventory. Arcane biometric sensor. Unlocks your character sheet. 20% failure rate. Locks you out after 5 attempts. That kinda thing? 😁

I posted a long comment but I don't see it anymore, is it lost or is it just me ? :(

Baileywiki

I don't see a long comment. But now I'm sad that it once existed.

Filofej

...I think the bed is truly what an adventure would need after surviving rocks falling on him. On a more precise ideas, what about an Abominable Elevator? Interaction requires a Will save. On failure, replaces you with a mimic. On success, it delivers you to your destination :P

So I'll make it again : Hello there ! First thanks for you work pushing and showing what is possible on foundry ! About 3d things : 3d canva is behind a paywall and is a tool that not all party will need/enjoy. Many GM/Players are used and prefers classic 2d maps and doesn't find it worth to invest in 3d stuff like character token, assets, scene, etc. Also it's weird for us to have 95% of the visual suport in 2d beacause not all scenes needed will be available in 3d or may need some time to manually make, extra time that GM may not have. For us if 3d release are made instead of 2d ones it's a net loose, because we may never use them. If it's bonus or independant content (like creating a new tier with new regular 3d release and assign specific man power to make this content with depending on the demand of that new tier) it's cool. Developping new options is cool and makes 3d canva more and more attractive if it's not instead of classic stuff that everyone can already enjoy. For landing pages : it may be very campaign/system specific, sor for me if the new content is system/campaign agnostic and add useful tools it's good. DnD 5e specific things (like combat on scene) may be content to check and remove for all other system users. We really appreciate monk's active tile trigger stuffs, that really add spices to game and help to take players breath away. Seeing more prefabs with that kind of things (and if possible system agnostic or even better with a pf2e version) would be awesome. (creative traps, puzzle, mechanism, etc) that can helps building a quest around it or that could be used in many situations (like prefabs of assets with their destroyed version like table, explosive barrel you made) 2d scenes/prefabs/tiles are the main meat for us, so more is always appreciated. Your module tutorial are really good and useful, making more would be really appreciated. (Danger zone module looks useful but I don't understand it) If I could suggest one thing : Asking the community to use modulars release to create scenes like dungeon, inn, wilderness encounter, etc and compile the best ones in a new module to add a lot of ready to use content and giving more examples of what is possible to make with modulars kits. Maps with variation directly on the scene with monk active tile levers (magic house, mansion) are really good also. Thanks again :)

Baileywiki

Dang. Ok, you win the award (so far) for the most thoughtful, insightful, and helpful comment. For this you win the prize of gratitude. I'm betting (hoping) your second draft was that much better than the first.

John Owens

Scif I modular assets would be fantastic :)

Todd Rathier

Honestly, I really enjoy your map making tutorials! More of those would be lovely.

I may have forgotten some things lol Sorry if there is some weird text construction/expression or mistakes, I'm not native speaker and more used to listening/reading than speaking in english. Just thinking of that now : I don't know if it could be good for you (time to make related to the impact on your channel/patreon) or not, but I would find it a good addition to make some youtube shorts showing an automation or a useful thing (like wagon you made, a door necessiting a key or a code, an elevator, multi-teleporter, puzzle, pressure plate, traps, useful multiface tiles, etc) which show what it looks when activated and a quick guide to make it or the tutorial in the description. All the things would be added to each month release for people to lazy to remake them or just to see them as examples.

Baileywiki

Great points. And impressive that this is not your native language. You're better at communicating in English than I am.. lol.

Esemwy

I second the SciFi assets request. SciFi, Modern, Cyberpunk, all the things!

Sean Laney

I would like to see more comprehensive, updated how-to videos on map creation, and one on taking a Baileywiki prefab map and completely altering it to a different setting in a fairly radical way (making substitutions, changing tiles, changing properties of tiles, etc.).

Relic

Plethora of prefabs will always be my vote. Being able to throw down a base texture that matches the area, then position the structures I need for that time is priceless in enumerable ways.

Ronja Greger

I would love more stuff for Dungeondraft - prefabs, tutorials, anything really. I am not a Foundry user, because I already bought Fantasy Grounds Unity, and so the only thing that's really helpful to me here is Dungeondraft-stuff that I can then use in FGU.

Benjamin D Pope

How about if v10 is going to affect changes to any past prefab or other content and if so, how do we fix or update it?

Jason Lee

How about some blank canvas (e.g. town, village, forest, tundra, desert etc.) where we can quickly drop prefabs on?

Baileywiki

There are some such backdrops in the discord channel now, but certainly more can be created. They are space-heavy so I might rather put them in a big Google drive folder or something outside the modules themselves.

MJ

Think you've done a good job of mixing the module tutorial aspect with interviewing other creators when they're involved somehow. I feel like you can do either or both and it'll be valuable content. The tutorials are what brought me here initially, anyway. :)

Brahman

Yuhhhhhhsssss lol

Brahman

My vote goes to the fabled Baileywiki-WIKI =P

Vincent Chin

some assets on carnival/circus will be good too if possible.
