Demons Within Backgrounds: Inn Room (Patreon)

Hey hey!

Here we have another new background! Or... is it, though?

For those who have already played the beta of Update 16, you've seen this background already! It's an inn room and brand new, made by Teo!

However, as you're all part of the making-off process of Demons Within, I'll share the secret: it's not new at all!

If you look closely, I'm sure you'd notice! Some people probably HAVE noticed already. This is actually Edwin and Resnick's bedroom, but flipped and with a few key edits to make it look fresh and different.

That's a very useful trick for backgrounds that we learned with this one and might use again in the future! We strive to make detailed and nice backgrounds when we can, but every now and then the story happens to take part in places, like this room, where we'll likely never be again. For those cases, it's not worth it neither for budgetting nor for the amount of work it takes to make a background to make a brand new one. It would, however, also suck to have a black screen through the entire scene, so...

This new trick worked pretty well!

Teo did an incredible job, as always, tweaking it to make it fresh!
