Amelia (Patreon)

I started working with models about 16 months ago, towards the end of 2019. Almost entirely group events at first - three or four photographers taking turns shooting one-on-one with a fully clothed model in a public place. This session with Amelia was different. It was the first time I was shooting anyone nude and also my first time in a studio. There was, understandably, a fair amount of hand-holding. I would tell the studio owner (Gabriel Nita) what look I was going for and he'd adjust the lights accordingly. Amelia did her thing, transitioning fluidly from one pose to the next while I clicked away. Eventually, after a few more shoots with Gabriel, I started flying solo, hiring my own models, choosing my own locations, setting up my own lights, etc. It was only then I realised how much I had to learn and how little credit I could take for my earlier photographs (with Amelia, Aria Rainbow, Emma Elizabeth and KatyB).
