i never really got the the hype for holes. we had the audio book played for us in art class in elementary and the story was cool but i remember watching the movie with my parents and just kind of feeling "meh" about it. it's not one of my childhood ones that was formative for me. then fast forward and it gets somehow tumblr famous back in like 2012 with memes and stuff and so i watch it again thinking maybe i missed something but nope, still just kinda "meh." i don't know why, the story is intriguing and so are the characters but the execution of the story just kinda always felt flat.

There’s an episode of psych where Shawn is talking about this movie and Gus says he never heard of it. Which is also funny because Gus always knows the references. Also the curse was broken because Stanley carried Zero up the hill and sang the song.

^^ I literally only know Holes is a film and that it exists because of that Psych reference lol. Never seen it though.

LOVE this movie. Like just about everything comes back together, almost everything mentioned has a reason and connects to each other. Very underrated movie! ❤

I saw this movie in theaters when it came out. I think I was in about 8th grade. I was obsessed with it. I still am. One of my all time favorite movies!

You missed the holes song with few of the cast members

Love this movie! Growing up I always loved the Kate scenes too and wanted more of them. Also yes to Disturbia! It's been so long since I've seen that.

I just love the "that's too damn bad" line from the grandpa. That never gets old.

I have read the book and seen the movie so many times, it is one of my favorites!
