This movie is based on an 80s show of the same name starring "The Six Million Dollar Man" Lee Majors. He drove that truck that was the product placement and also sang the theme music of the show. The song featured at the end of the movie with slightly different lyrics. In the show, Colt was a stuntman and bounty hunter, Jodie was his co-worker but they rather had a teacher-apprentice relationship. Here's the intro and theme song of that show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNizcrfnQ4E

After the phone gets shot and Colt pushes his buddy out of the way of the shotgun, you can actually hear the "super jump" sound effect from The Six Million Dollar Man (01:18:27 in the reaction video).

Should watch Boy kills world, it gave me a similar vibe.
