- they filmed during the summer mostly since they weren't allowed to film during the fall & spring semesters full time at Pepperdine University. With that being said that's also one of the reasons why its so surprising that we got 24 episodes the 3rd season then they went right back to the 13 episodes format - Zoey's not the smartest of the group but they tried to hard to make Zoey too perfect and that's why she's the worst out of all DS's main girls or the big 3 ( Zoey, Carly, & Tori) so to speak - im going to ignore that Tori stray (she's top 2) but to other characters from their pov Zoey has no flaws whatsoever the entire series but to us as viewers she's judgmental & is always overstepping boundaries because she thinks she's never in the wrong and she never learns from this ever. - Little me loved Zoey but now that I'm older she just gets on my nerves but to be fair I felt this way about Carly too but just in reverse I couldn't stand her growing up but I love her now. As far as the reboot she had me up until season 3 started airing then she immediately lost me again with the argument with Freddie, she pissed me straight off 😭
