As a kid, this was my first impression of Slade and he was hella creepy. I didn't have terminology for it at the time, but I new he was off lol Beast Boy's reaction did seem a bit out of character, but I think he took it extremely personal because she ran away beforehand due to lack of trust. He probably felt like they were past that, but trauma doesn't disappear overnight. All that said, I definitely would've had some words for Tara. His teenager brain told him to make her hurt now, rather than bring her in for questioning (not like Slade would've made it easy). I don't fault BB for being upset, though
