he doesn't remember because it was in his subconscious. I don't think it's much different from when they enter other people's minds. while he did interact with them, he also spent a majority of it repeating the same day. there's a good chance it all just meshed together, and he forgot about all of it. I think it's implied that he forgot it all, not just them two.
