I really hope you continue to watch this!! It is actually such a good show. Really fun as a whole. I'm glad you enjoyed this first episode! Also, I think Callie's change makes sense, she's like more "fun" and loose but still the relentless, in her own ways type of girl (in a good way) and you will see that the more the show goes on
