One of my favourite shows of all time. There is lots of great additional content too. There are fan made audition/application videos for the Evil League of Evil, the best of which made it on to the dvd. There is also an amazing commentary which you really have to hear called commentary! The musical

Fun fact: One of the three mail cowboys is Jed Whedon (Joss' brother) who also helped write this project. The two newscasters were Marti Noxon and David Fury, producers of Buffy and Angel.

Thanks for watching ! Glad you enjoyed it. Did you notice when they were in the soup kitchen that Dr. Horrible is there behind Captain Hammer? He is wearing a fake moustache, he's just over Fillion's shoulder. That part always cracks me up. This gets better every time you watch it. There's so much going on, it's impossible to catch it all the first time.

Commentary! The Musical is completely worth getting the DVD for - also available to buy as a soundtrack... which I highly recommend and the songs are fantastic!!!!

This was a fun reaction from you. I'm so happy you love musicals. So do I! And I love Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion. And I really like Dr. Horrible a lot because he's actually really sweet despite him trying to become a real villain, while Captain Hammer is a real jerk, but funny. And the music is phenomenal.

They recently came out with a one-off comic book called Dr. Horrible: Best Friends Forever. Written by Whedon himself. I am still hoping they can make a proper sequel, though.

This is really the origin story of a super villain instead of a hero. At the end, yeah he got everything he wanted, but he lost something potentially much more precious to him, the woman he loved. So at the end it's a contrast of putting on the face of a super villain then cuts to him in front of his camera showing what he truly is, a broken person.

Awesome songs. Horribly interesting story. (See what I did there?) I always saw his vlog as his aspirations, who he wants to be. He is Dr. Horrible in his vlog through most of the video. Once he achieves what he thought he wanted to be, in the last frame he vlogs ad Billy, the person he wishes to be again. Bitter sweet. "Here lies everything, The world I wanted at my feet"
